This song reminds me of her concert back in the '80's. In Oakland, must have been the Fox? Can't remember exactly. It was a very elegant evening.

Stevie Nicks, looking angry, disgusted, sad and melancholy, all the while remaining as lovely as ever, sings this gem right to the horse's mouth. There is no acting here as Nicks, draped in vintage black lace, sings the tune she penned both to and with the song's inspiration himself: Lindsey Buckingham.

The authentic energy, complex emotions and history between them is palpable in this live version of 'Silver Springs'. The raw, soul-wrenching lyrics are sobering and eerily disturbing. A certain age-old angst descends on the stage and is clearly visible on both of their joyless faces.

Nicks repeatedly glares at Buckingham, going as far as to defiantly venture toward her band-mate while pointedly singing the lyrics she wrote three decades ago right at him.

Buckingham, visibly sweating, has an understandably wary visage, appearing ruefully uncomfortable at times, while refusing to acknowledge Nicks' penetrating gaze at others.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

If you know anything of the story of these two people, this live version of the song is particularly captivating; a classic in reality entertainment.
