I made some Taco Soup :)

1 pounds ground beef
1 cups diced onions
1 (15 1/2-ounce) cans pinto beans
1 (15 1/4-ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
1 (14 1/2-ounce) can Mexican-style stewed tomatoes
1 (14 1/2-ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 (14 1/2-ounce) can tomatoes with chiles
1 (4.6-ounce) can black olives, drained and sliced, optional
1 (1 1/4-ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1 (1-ounce) package ranch salad dressing mix
Tortilla Chips, for serving
Sour cream, for garnish
Grated cheese, for garnish
Chopped green onions, for garnish

Directions
Brown the ground beef and onions in a large skillet;
drain the excess fat, then transfer the browned beef and onions
to a large slow cooker or a stockpot. Add the beans, corn, tomatoes,
black olives, taco seasoning, and ranch dressing mix,
and cook in a slow cooker on low for 6 to 8 hours or simmer over low heat
for about 1 hour in a pot on the stove. To serve, place a tortilla chips
in each bowl and ladle soup over them. Top with sour cream, cheese, green onions

To drink, Cherry Coke Zero

I wound up taking boneless, skinless chicken thighs and wrapping them in turkey bacon, throwing some onions on top with some yummy seasoning and diluted spicy brown mustard for the sauce and baking. Add some steamed broccoli and wala!

Thinking about toast...

WolfyOne 02-20-2011 05:01 PM

Beef Roast
Corn
Wheat roll

Haven't decided if I want a glass of White Zin or Pomegranate wine

hpychick 02-20-2011 05:08 PM

Pork ribs, in a wonderful sauce (recipe from my youngest), carrots, celery, onions and potatoes. Water.

WolfyOne 02-20-2011 05:25 PM

I opted for the White Zin
My ex wanted the Pomegranate and I never tried it
Didn't want to ruin my meal, just in case

Ya'll know that a glass of wine is heart smart
