I love this time of year. I'm sure it's just me, but the sun seems to shine a little brighter ,so does the moon. Even colors seem brighter. Makes my heart happy!

I woke up and looked at my ledger for my broker dealer.. and was furious that I am not paid for a case I have worked my butt off...

Then I saw the Caylee Anthony trial on the news... and realized my problem is fixable and I can deal with it.... ( :( so sad for the beautiful little child... someone who is lost in all this TV drama/hype/ridiculousness)

SO grateful I have so much love in my life...

I understand it equally affects about 1 in 10 to as many as 1 in 6 female cats, with the reverse proportion in male cats.

"We thought an organ like a gallbladder would have a pure genetic origin as probably most people do. Just as a short anatomical review, a gallbladder is a thin-walled sac in the duct between the liver and the small intestine, and it regulates the flow of bile to the small intestine and helps in the digestion particularly of fat in the small intestine.

The ptarmigan and other species of grouse don't have them. Presumably, their diets are so low in fat that the gallbladder is unnecessary, but some years ago we found gallbladders in captive ptarmigan that we raised from eggs at the University of Alaska, and we couldn't figure out why that would be. Eventually we tracked it down and attributed it to our inadvertently feeding the chicks a diet that was considerably higher in fat than they would get in the wild. This we believe is a classic example of a very important phenomenon called epigenetics, which literally means "beyond genetics."

ok i give up...what is a Juggalos?...

They're a gang of mostly teenagers and young adults who follow the group Insane Clown Posse. I have to admit, in a mumble, that I don't totally dislike ICP's act. (See Miracles on YouTube.)

This gang calls themselves Juggalos and Juggalettes (man, the femmes got short end of those naming conventions, huh?), they wear clown make-up, and SOME of them--not all--are trending toward violent crime. In NH in the last year, there have been at least 3 brutal crimes committed by people who identify as Juggalos.

A friend of mine lives a few houses away from where some young guys entered a home, stabbed the mother to death, and stabbed her 12yo daughter almost to death.

I don't want to blame the music--I mean, I really do not blame the music. But I do think the group dynamic should be looked at seriously.
