Attending the 2017 Pennsylvania Women's Conference today. 12,000 women in one room to listen to Shonda Rhimes, Brene Brown, and the absolutely amazing Michelle Obama. (Barack Obama even sent a video for Michelle in celebration of their 25th anniversary) I feel so energized and encouraged.

i was going to post in the what made you smile thread, but its more than a smile. i feel so much joy! my love treated me to a massage/chiro visit, that’s a damn nice thing to do. That right there gives me so much joy. The massage therapist was amazing,and it was a great connection. i am SO picky about how i let massage me, i’ve had a few that have been mediocre so i am reluctant. Doing massage all i do is analyze :( She was simply amazing, she worked on my old broken arm and shoulder, which is scary with my injury and i now have a MUCH improved range of motion. its probably going to be sore as hell tomorrow but i don’t care! i am also getting an adjustment next week and woohooo these old bones are going to be so happy! Thank you Mister Mel for the best massage i’ve ever had! |

Firstly, He does. Every day.
Secondly, I don't have to work today. Even if it's a rough weather day, I still don't have to put on a uniform and go dance for my dollars, so that makes me happy and quite joyful. |

Reason yesterday...
I finished my MAP training. I got a 90% on my pre test and passed my med pass....all on the first try! Now I can sit for my test and get certified. It's a requirement for my job so I'm super glad to get it out of the way.... |
Attending a training session, followed by the AGM, of the derby league I'm in. Watching the rookies play Daisy - they were so good! - and the A-team doing their practices. It made me feel really happy. It's been a good day!

Seeing my cat eating! She has been sick for weeks and I've been feeding her bone stock and cat milk through a syringe every three hours, over nights, you name it. The last 48 hours she has started eating solid food on her own again and is starting to wander around the house again instead of sleeping in her carrier crate - which is all she's been doing for weeks. Today she ran over to the bowl of dry cat food and ate and ate and ate. Yay!
