Jo and i were sitting at McDs( i was the designated food buyer so she wouldnt go overboard ;) ) anyway near trhe end we are sitting there talking and this family comes in and this little girl is looking and smiling then waves at us--a couple different times...if everyone was as friendly!

She was adorable...but I knew Scoote wouldn't let me steal her.

And I only ate one apple pie....so I wasn't THAT bad. :)

Getting a friend request on facebook, from my oldest niece—she is nine; and then having a chat with her later in the day, while I was playing mafia wars.

Getting messages from my brother and nieces saying they got their packages and they really loved everything ..the girls' favorites were the "Slippy" socks. .......and it made me smile to have a real conversation with my brother where it felt like he was present and not distant.... making plans for his vacation to bring the girls out here .... chatting with another friend about their care package.... getting to come home early on comp time and cuddling with Willy Bear.... it was a long hard day, but a good day...

Tuesdays there is free/practice bowling from 2-4 for leagues. Soooooo me, Jo, Shelby and David showed up and had a great time. Had a few beers and ate some awesome bowling alley junkfood. Yea baby!! Made me smile big! :D

spending time with my cousin... i haven't seen her in years... most likely seeing her again next week... then she is off again on tour with the musical "Bring It On!"

Did a mile on the elliptical at the gym, and 5.12 miles on the bike..then came home and did 30 minutes on the Wii Fit Plus, a combination of yoga and hula hooping. Hoorah! Now off to work :tarot: Get Goose tomorrow, planning a New Years party :)

It didnt last long... back to screaming and arguing...

Being able to be with my sister, whom I rarely see, in this welcoming, fun, amazing and safe place.:cheer::cheer:

It was so nice to read this. I miss you like crazy. Especially over the holidays. And it is making me smile to share this time with you, little sister of mine.

It also makes me smile when I think about mom and dad. Two gay daughters. One butch. One femme. Boy were they ever confused.

Haha good thing she had religion...right?

It makes me smile that we are a case in argument for genetic predisposition of sexual orientation.

Let's keep that a secret. If science can figure out a way to isolate that gene and find markers for it in a fetus there may be a significant drop in gay children being born.

I imagine even the religious right would become a proponent of a woman's right to choose if a gay gene was located. That might make me smile. After I vomit.

At least very rich gay and lesbian couples who want children could choose to have one of their own. That would make me smile and grind my teeth. Always looking on the bright side, just like you. lol

Last night my bff called and we talked for over an hour, then I went to bed. And this morning I woke up, immediately started writing (on the bloggy blog) and it just flowed! I love it when that happens, and I think it's all her fault. Thanks bff!

Today, Writing a check out to a contractor to get my bathroom demo'd and redone... TOMORROW! Finally!!! (my bathroom is a hot mess due to a grout leak... ugh) And, the best part is, I am going out of town for NYE, and it will be done when I get back... sweet!!!
