Mentor Moments
Hey everyone! I have three Mentor Moments, each person will get one. For anyone that I know a little bit, I could match the moment to the recipient. For everyone else... my moments were pieces of advice that have helped me along my path. It may not relate to you in your current situation but I am hoping that maybe you will see a time in your life that the advice might have been fitting.
For anyone not on the list who wants one, I have about four extra. If you want one, please let me know, via PM, with your address, by tomorrow night? I have to visit the post office to pick up a package and will drop one in the mail to you :) This was a lot of fun! Now, bring on Halloween a.k.a. the best holiday ever!!! :sparklyheart: |
I would love to join the Halloween card project.
I love candy, just sayin' Katniss. I like the idea of groups of 5 and mailing to each person. Although I would gladly join more then one group if there was a shortage somewhere. :) |

I'm finishing up my mentor project this weekend and will mail it on Monday morning!

Okay-- Well I believe that Mentor project is officially over-- well at least with MST, CST, and EST.
I thought that we could start a sign up sheet for the HOWL-OH-WEEN (homemade) card project. We (NYCFEM and myself) talked about splitting into groups of 5 and then only having to make 4 cards and then sending out to the individuals in your group, and others have talked about sending more out to other groups. So what do you want to do?? For me, I like the group thing, but also it depends how many sign up for the project. If there are only 7 folks, I don't mind making 6 cards. If you plan on including candy in project, please make sure that the individuals can eat what you plan on sending. After the deadline (Sept 30) for signup-- lets figure out if we are going to do groups or no groups. 1.) ahk 2.) NYCFEM 3.) sis 4.) LaneyDoll 5.) Miss_Tia 6.) Ts_kaijira 7.) Katniss 8.) I don't mind taking "spillover" either. If there is no clear division of groups, meaning the number won't divide, I will gladly take extra names. I'm probably going to be a candy/treat sender just as an FYI.

I'm in HOWEVER I really would like to stick with the group-of-five-but-make-only-four-cards! I'm thinking that postage to China won't be cheap so I don't want too many people inconvenienced financially. Also, NO food for me as that is what get inspected/confiscated. I know, I know, what's Halloween without giving and getting treats but that's the way the tootsie rolls here in the PRC!
So, will I be in a group of the first 5 listed??? Deb |

Hey, ahk, do you want to put our treat preferences next to our name in the list? If so, I am, "No chocolate, but yes any other candy" That way, anyone who wishes to add candy can have a quick reference guide :)
