It went down to 19 degrees last night with a howling wind gusting up to 35 mph. I hardly slept at all from the sound of it. The chimes banging against the house as well as the potted plants which are dead. Annuals I have not dumped yet. Garbage containers blown all down the street. Huge old hardwood felled all over the city knocking out power for thousands. Besides that the sun is out and it is beautiful; just not fit to go outside in it.

Expecting a high of 56 today on the Treasure Coast, but there's a freeze warning for tonight as it "may" get down to 27. By Thursday, we're supposed to be back in the 70's. :beachkids: :)

I just came back from the store and it wasn't too bad but too cold for me I like warm weather, its heals my joints up and makes my asthma better. the cold weather just gets down in my lungs and I start wheezing up a storm..I think its 40 degrees with the temps dropping tonight and tomorrow..

It's been cold here but I keep checking the forecast hoping for some snow and ice - Any excuse to make chili and cuddle by the fire.
According to the Farmer's Almanac, central Arkansas probably won't have a white Christmas. What can I say? We got spoiled last year with 8 inches of snow :) |

One hell of a freezing rain ice storm last night. Traffic along the interstates were a parking lot last night and again this morning. Accidents all over the map!!!! 31 degrees and will reach 53 later. Who knew? This will be the first time above freezing since Sunday morning. Cats are feeling the warmer temp' running around playing now. They have been in bed under and on the electric blanket for days! |

A little ice this morning but not so bad cold today only about 31 right now...a far cry from 12..13...15 it has been the last few mornings. Suppose to warm up to 40 and melt away like a bad dream as the day goes on. Until then I see the birds kicking leaves around looking for food. Guess I'll pull on my boots and throw out some feed and put out some meal worms for the blue birds
