I still can't believe that two perfectly sober, goal-oriented adults watched several episodes of Jersey Shore in a row.

I'm getting :twitch: remembering it.

I think I lost a few IQ points. :eyebrow:

Help. :hanging:

You know when someone says something along the lines of "roar like a lion" and then you hear a kitten mew a little bit? That smiley reminds me of that. I wonder if, once the server migration is complete, if Linus could locate some horns or a pic of the front of a caddy or something a bit more fierce than "farmbull". Yanno, something to strike fear in the hearts of those that oppose your team....instead of the feeling of wanting to pet ole Bessie.

Note: I do realize it says 'bull' and there aren't any udders showing, but still....doesn't he LOOK like a Bessie?

*laughs hysterically*

Maybe this one for now? :batmoose:

that doesn't sound right at all... could they have aggravated an old injury or could you have stepped down from the table wrong?

Gemme 01-10-2010 12:14 AM

Irish, it's not unusual to be sore or tender or both for a couple of days, but since it's spread out over weeks of time, I'd go to a chiropractor if you can.

Like apretty said, it could have aggravated an old injury or brought to light an issue (like you subconsciously creating an imbalance by carrying heavy weight consistently on one shoulder...purse, book bag, kids, wrought iron...you get the picture) that was previously unidentified.

As someone who completely reversed the curvature of her neck (not fun, I assure you), please don't mess with your spinal heath.

Diva 01-10-2010 01:37 AM

After a massage, one needs to drink a LOT of water, to flush the toxins out of one's body that were released by the massage.....

All the difference in the world!!!! :D

It's always so strange when 25 degrees is balmy and spring like..

CALMNESS IN OUR LIVES

I am passing this on to you because it definitely works and we could all use a little more calmness in our lives. By following simple advice heard on the Oprah show, you too can find inner peace.

Dr. Oz proclaimed, "The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started and have never finished."

So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished, and before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of White Zinfandel, a bottle of Tequila, a package of Oreos, the remainder of my old Prozac prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, some Doritos, and a box of chocolates. You have no idea how freaking good I feel right now.

Please Pass this on if you know anyone you think might be in need of inner peace

Last night, a beloved member of our Burning Man community was being thrown his 66th birthday party at someone's home. One of his rental homes to be exact. This person who rents his home, posted all over the place on meetup.com as well as our Yahoo group about this party saying that EVERYONE was invited to this party.

One of our 10 principals (actually the very first one on the list) is RADICAL INCLUSION. Everyone is welcome to our community. We embrace the stranger.

I wasn't going to attend this party because I had to work early this morning, even though I was promised to be home at a reasonable hour by a designated driver at the party. Then, I saw on FB that some friends were going so I called them and asked them if in fact they were going and they said yes but were not going to stay long due to the fact that they and the host of this party do not get along. I told my friends that I wanted to go but didn't want to stay long due to the work thing and was afraid that the designated person who was to give me a ride home was going to be too drunk, high or "getting busy" with someone.

When the four of us showed up at the party, they were pretty much rushed out the door by the host and saying that they were not welcome in her home but I, however, could stay. The host went on saying that they caused too much drama in her life (when in fact it was her causing her own issues). They were insistent on going inside to wish our friend a happy birthday, give him his gifts and leave which is exactly what they did.

I'm just absolutely FLOORED that anyone would do that after inviting everyone to this party for a man that is adored by all.

Radical inclusion.

I did not stay at the party. I am livid and upset over this whole ordeal. I have already lost one community and I don't want to lose another.

Someone dropped dead at O/our local grocery store the other day only moments before B. arrived there. W/we heard, at first, that he'd slipped on the floor (it's thick ice and snow here), but I found out today that he'd *simply* overheated whilst walking up the hill to the store and then *just* died.

I can't stop thinking, 'What if that had been B.?' And being grateful that it wasn't, although perfectly understandable, is making me feel like a really, really bad person. Which is stupid, I know, but even so...

Life is so unpredictable. Almost as unpredictable as our responses to it.
