How I hated wearing the girlie white skates!

I longed for either hockey skates or the black ones!

I was lucky to have my own roller skates, both types....I LOVED to roller skate. I went often to Skate Night, held on Monday's and it was a wonderful part of my growing up years..... :)

My mom would save her empty spools of thread all year long so that come Christmas time, she could keep us occupied by making ornaments for the tree.

OMG I had forgotten all about this! What I mess me and my sister made of this stuff!

How I loved running these on top of the linoleum floor in our kitchen! It was all fun and games UNTIL you left one out and your dad almost broke his neck on it!

To this very day whenever I hear my full given name shouted, I shudder!

Whenever I got roped into attending one of these 'tea party' affairs I was not a happy camper!

I never saw the point to drinking something 'make believe' plus the femmes running them were always so bossy!

This provided me with hours and hours of fun! As I recall there was also another similar track that you slid marbles down and watched to see which one made it to the finish line first........
