Online, it's when someone doesn't even vehemently disagree with me (somehow, arguing and strong dislike can turn around to..attraction). There's indifference and no connection.

In person, when someone isn't looking in my eyes, but is scanning the room or even looking at their watch.

If they just plain don't ask me to dance, or offer to buy me a drink, things like that. None of the little niceties.
