We are going to a game dinner at school.

No, I am not kidding.

Last year, Pete tasted everything.

I skipped the bear and the moose.

I will try the emu tonight, I think, but I will not be having any wild boar.

I had venison and emu, and what I think was fish.

Pete had bear and wild boar and moose.

We both had Corsican Ram.

For the first time since moving into my new place, I cooked.....yay!!!

I made my version of Bistec ala Mexicana
With help from a Mexican lady at work yesterday, we went to a Carniceria
I picked up some Arranchera and was in heaven that I could get it out here
They also had a bakery there and made tortillas
I brought home, warm out of the oven hot, corn tortillas that were to die for

And where in the world did you go to this dinner, I would expect a game dinner to be a picket-able event in the Valley. :|

did you have to go in disguise and knock three times and say a code word at the door? did you wear fur? ;)

I'm not a big fan of game but this sounds like a fun covert activity!

OK I can do that, but I don't know nothin about cream sauce, and besides there is no reason to mess up a good steak with whatever it is LOL....how would you like that steak cooked Ma'am....will Ebon be joining us?

Chicken breast cooked in HOT salsa and bbq sauce... served over steamed rice that is sprinkled with lime juice and cilantro... corn salsa mixed in for good measure... Yum! The house smells fantastic...

I like mine medium rare. Ebon likes his medium. I'll be dragging Ebon along shortly. Can we bring something for dessert?

It was at school, and it was sponsored by a club.

Students cooked, served, and gawked at me and Pete.
