Zimmeh, soft food diets are the pits, definitely. Knowing that chicken isn't really a good option, what about mashed potatoes made with chicken broth (or even cream of chicken soup) in place of water? More flavorful and filling.. unless there is a lactose issue.

Then again, there is always baby food. ;)

Holiday fun for singles in Central AR?

Hell, even the couples would be welcome! I was thinking about getting a bunch together to go looking at all the holiday lights. When I lived in FL we used to get a couple of pick-up trucks filled with womyn to go drive and look at lights, all bundled up (we'd have to REALLY get bundled up here in AR, damn it gets COLD here!). Afterwards we'd have hot chocolate and cookies, etc at someone's place. Sound good? Any takers? (I know Medusa and Jack and River are all here local.... anyone else?)

Tonight was the final (un)dress rehearsal for the madrigal dinners I will be singing and serving in. Feel better today but have been under the weather so I hope I am not extending myself too much. Very hard to do this after a day at work but I love to do it and it is our biannual fundraiser. Really... Who wouldn't want to see me dressed up as a wench? and sing? and serve you a 6 course pork dinner to boot? Seeeeeee don't ya wish you lived in Jersey now. lololol I'll try to remember to take a picture and put it up in Galleries. I will let you know.

I have been snacking on Fig Newtons and Combos. The Ensure caused my blood sugar to spike and crash...So I am eating solid foods slowly.

lol... shoulda known that miss eating-popcorn-right-after-getting-teeth-pulled wouldn't let a little thing like bruised gums keep her from eating solids! i just had my braces tightened and one of my teeth turned after the bracket was busted for 2 weeks, so i'm eating soft solids too... like candy cane joe-joe's dipped in milk :cheesy:

:) you know us girls are tough cookies! I was starving today and I have been drinking a shit load of water behind everything I was eating. Hope you are feeling good and I just had the almond butter truffle from Godiva. I would love to see my dentist on this whole Ensure, yogurt and applesauce diet!

Right? I think the animals are enjoying the tree more than I am. It is like a new toy for them. I only put up lights and a few (plastic) ornaments because I don't believe I am ever going to be in the frame of mind to have to pull little tinsel strings out of their heiny and of course stringing popcorn would be like a candy necklace for them.

It does make me laugh a bit though when the cat perches in the tree and swipes at the puppy underneath.

Sounds like a wonderful friend to have. Perhaps if we could find you one of those defunct telephone booths, you could have a tree? Decorating might be a bit difficult reaching around it but I saw thin/full trees in Hobby Lobby yesterday.

If they can make a fish tank out of a telephone booth, surely we could make you a protective guard out of one. lol

Good Morning Everyone,

I was working from 6am to 1p at the part time job and then went to the hotel from 3p to 11:30p..I came home and crashed. :) My body is letting me know, that I am not used to lifting very heavy boxes and standing for six and a half hours straight. I didn't eat a lot yesterday since I wasn't really hungry.

Its finally here...finally....Happy Friday everyone!!! This weekend I'll be finishing up my Christmas shopping unless any last minute things pop up. I'm happy that I started doing shopping in November so I don't have to deal to much with the crowds, people pushing and the rudeness that seems to come with Christmas shopping.
