I'm so happy! Just cuz'! What made me smile today is spending the day with my son in the ER (who is fine now) and after not eating for 6 hours the nurse brings us both lunch :-). Thank goodness my little guy is ok...well he's 14...but still my baby. LOL:-)

What made me smile today was waking up and finding a message to me from my honey and a picture too *S* .... Then talking to her and hearing her sweet voice,,DAYUMN I love that southern accent ,,drives this Ole Finn wild with desires and makes me smile like the cheshire cat !! LOL... Enjoy your day/eve one and a/ALL....

I went to my interview this morning, on the bike. I love riding in what the people around here consider cold weather, to me it is just right. Brisk enough to keep you alert and not make wearing a ton of leather hot. Nice.
Interview went great and Bob was very happy to see me come back. So, keeping my fingers crossed for a call back. |

After spending 33 minutes in the freezing cold waiting for a very very late bus I made it to work 37 minutes late and grumpy. But! I put on my headphones and answered emails. Maurice Durufle pandora always makes me smile. The first song to come on was Dies Irae from his requiem. Yes, it's about death: "Gods wrath!" "calamity and misery!" etc. but it's just so darn pretty it always calms and cheers me. (sorry Maurice, I know that wasn't your intent.)

Was sitting at my desk, surfing and eating gummy bears. Well, I dropped one, Bob pounced on it............and proceeded to play soccer with it for about 5 minutes before finally eating it. Such a punk.

My 13 yr old nephew received a letter in the mail "inviting" him to try out for the MN Mavericks AAA Hockey Team. Consisting of Iowa and Southern MN boys. They invite 25 players to try out for the team and take 20 of those 25 players.
Even if he doesn't make it, I'm still very proud of him!! |
