Friday, helping my uncle.....working on replacing my intake gasket and valve cover gaskets on my truck, flushing the engine and replacing the antifreeze, changing the oil.
Saturday, Road trip down near Austin to visit my dad, grandma, and the rest of my cousins,aunts, and uncles. Gonna be a 2wk mini vacay for me so to speak and do a little work for dad and grandma and my aunt while I'm down there. Not to much though, just light stuff they need done every year I go in Spring. HEE HEE I can't wait to see them all. I haven't been able to go in a while. I miss them all so much. Am hoping to have a safe and happy time while traveling and visiting. Lucky me. |
For the first time maybe ever in my life, I am taking a 5-day weekend and not traveling anywhere!

My BBFF is coming for a visit in 2 days! Perhaps a day at the beach, a bbq for Sunday Funday.... who knows for sure. We are gonna wing it! But we know for sure, mucho fun will be had!!

I have 4 Doctor's appointments scheduled Wednesday through Friday, and we are being confirmed in the church on Sunday by our area Bishop.

My nephew and his fiance (my sister's son) have been visiting this week and yesterday was his 25th birthday. We've been having a wonderful time with "the kids" and there's still time to go for more fun!!! So far, it's been shows, visiting (Hoover Dam, the Area 51 Highway, casinos and buffets) and little sleep. Jeesh, even 25 y/o's exhaust me, but I simply love and adore these kids and am willing to be a little tired in order to give them a good time. :heartbeat::winky:

I'm currently working a 10 day stretch, in a strange rotation of days, swings and night-shifts, but I'm planning to go down to the coast to visit with a long-friend and try out a new cafe that serves fresh seafood and organically grown produce. I hear that they have some amazing salads. I'm looking forward to my time off and being near the ocean. ♡
