Hy is cooking up some dinner and then root beer floats for dessert as we watch Gone With the Wind.

Waking up with my woman next to me and not having to rush off to work.

I decided I wanted to be more present in life; to use all my senses even in routine, mundane tasks. I wanted to strive for excellence even in things I didn't have to do all that well, just get them done. I was tired of feeling half alive and not achieving anything.

So, I decided to approach my education law work fully engaged and going for excellence. I think I succeeded, I feel happy about my work tonight, and heck, I feel joy :).

So far?
 

Two female ducks paddling around in our swimming pool, taking an early morning bath, and completely ignoring the three cats intently watching them. :)

Finally getting a full nights' sleep. :alarm:
