I just turned around and found that Bob had 7 balls, a rope toy, 2 bones, a kong and a fire hydrant on the bed. Gee. Toy much.

Today my belly didn't feel good... so for lunch, I got some favorite Chinese food to go....it's a dreary, overcast, rainy day....the kind of day that makes you happy to get home. When I opened my fortune cookie, it said " :) It is a sunny day. :) " .... I smiled because it reminded me even on a rainy day, that the sun is shining somewhere and that the sun follows the rain. It also made me smile when I recalled the beautiful sunrise this morning.

A live cover album from a local band I <3 love <3 ... Bluesy, raspy vocals belting out tunes like "Bring it on home" and "Lay Lady Lay" .... and my favorite "Breaking Up Somebody's Home" ... <3 Love <3 this singer. |

Groceries in for the upcoming storm system headed our way. Plans to cook meals together. The pup hiding her head under a blanket, trying to be invisible, so I won't put her out in the pouring rain. If she can't see me I can't see her right? Hanging with my girl, ALWAYS.....

I went out to a customer's car today to check his engine codes. He was a fairly older gentleman, very kind, good energy from him. So I have to engage the key into the auxillary position and the radio comes on. Blaring. A great dance song on our local pop station. As I'm entering his car's info on the code reader, I say, "great choice of music." And I proceed to start dancing. He's like... "Um it's my daughters car... um I barely heard it...." I'm talking cranked the f up. I shake my head and say, "you're so busted man!!!!!!!" We laugh and I dance some more.

A phone call from my pregnant daughter telling me her sonogram(?) went well--no birth defects that they were screening for and baby is probably a girl--Yippeeee.

My new toy: Capresso Milk Frother!
I love cappuccino! Prices at Starbucks are crazy for what I get: venti, quad (4 shots of expresso), non-fat cap.
Love that foam! Treated myself to the Capresso. It does exactly what it says it does: automatically heats and foams the milk in this cute little pitcher and turns it off when done! Love it and I am smiling through a mustache of foam on my upper lip right now:) Yum! |
I have actually had a lot of luck with a Mr. Coffee. The kind with the coffee pot on one side, and the cappuccino maker on the other. I have had it for years and it makes a fine cup. On either side. I am a big fan of latte so it does get some use.

I'm visiting my bestie in a small rural town. Today we had to drive like crazy people at 140km/h on snowy single-lane roads to yet another small town so she could register her students for a music festival. I smiled because we made it... with 2 minutes to spare.
