Keeping an eye on the east coast. Beautiful day today but an ugly storm is brewing. Home it stays out to sea.

Ohhhh, it's been fairly warm lately. Mostly 90s to low 100s. Once in awhile we get the balmy 80s.

Really nice at night tho. ... low 60s.


I'm staying hydrated too....mostly water but my doctor gave me a great recipe for home made Lemonade with electrolytes. It works like a charm. :)

P. S. / my mother called last night to tell me that my sister in northern Idaho is snowed in by blizzard conditions....

Just past noon and it's 62 degrees here in Eastern WA. The high today will be 68 so Fall is definitely in the air and I'm loving it. :hk28:

NY North Country can't seem to decide what season it is.

Last week we were in the 90s. This week the 40s-50s with frost warnings.

It was simply gorgeous today! I spent the day visiting two elderly ladies, both who are family (mom & Aunt) to my great friend, Jackie, who is such a sweetie..... she just got out of the hospital today, but her mother has dire heart issues and needs surgery soon. We're all very worried over her mom.

So, it was a beautiful day for a picnic in the fall sunshine!

Here in the middle of the UK we had fog today, followed by drizzle, then someone mislaid a lake right over the top of the college (it seemed like), then more drizzle, more rain, then - it stopped raining! Was still overcast though, didn't see the sun all day.

T'other day when that storm blew over there were a couple of spells where the sun was a dim red even though it was about 30 degrees high in the sky - it was beautiful! But car-owners whinged that their cars were covered in dust. No pleasing some folk! :-}

It is 103 today and I am not far from the beach.

The air feels like our heads are stuck in an oven and the Santa Ana winds are blowing.

Suffocating is a good word for it.

I worry about more fires now.

I sure know what you mean after the horrible fires locally and all.over Oregon. Very scary stuff.

We actually have a week of beautiful weather. It's about 67* now, not a cloud in the sky all day, slight winds. So very very lovely today.


So hard to believe all the fires that have raged on the West coast for months now. I hope it gets better soon Anya! :rrose:

Okay, what is going on here? It was 37 degrees at my house this morning. In Texas!

It will be 98* here today, and over 90* this weekend.

Monday when we leave California it will be 77*....BUT our first stop in AZ will be 90*.
