It is 40 degrees in Texas. What the heck?

It has cooled down in Texas! Yesterday, 88..whew...today, well right now, 68. Sweet!!!
Back door open, the coolness sneaking in. I love it! AND, it looks like it will repeat tomorrow! |
Freeze warning and high wind warning in effect. :blink: Time to find the sweats and gloves. |
The next couple of nights are going to be in the mid-teens and low 20s. Brrr....

At the moment, it is 29 with a wind chill of 16. Highs to be in the low 30's today. Wind warning was dropped. Sun shining tho. Found the sweats and flannel. Now searching for scarfs, gloves, and ear muffs. |
When I left work this morning at 8 am it was 20° - I was wishing I had thought to bring my scarf! I'm glad to be back home where it's warm. :cold:

I suppose with vast tracts of timber that burnt down over the past few months, our weather here and largely throughout the Pacific Northwest will be hard to predict, based on past weather models.
We've had intermittent spells of chilly weather (rain wind snow, lather rinse repeat) for days now. High today: Maybe 55* ? Low tonight: Maybe 40* ? I dunno.... all I know is it's very chilly :cold: |
I had to put the first sprinkle of ice melt out this morning.

It was an 'half & half' kind of day:
Half pearly clouds... And, half pearly dark clouds chock full of rain. Either half was just as cold as the other half. The approximate "high" was somewhere near 57* ??? The approximate "low" is somewhere near 53* ??? But right now, it's 47* (according to an weather bulletin). ::::: mysterious Femme eyes ::::::: |
Currently 21* , feels like 14* according to yahoo weather. :blink:

Is in the high 50's at the moment. Nice, comfortable temp. The monsoons are also back and the roads are getting flooded. Temps will be dropping back into the 30's tonight and a high of 40 for turkey day. |

They promised us some snow. We had about a quarter inch last night which has melted. Some beginning to our winter.
