For many of us, it’s been a long hard and very cold winter. I’m trying to make myself happy by thinking about spring and renewal of life, new beginnings and getting inspired to grow in many ways. The theme of this project is about just that! What inspires you, brings you back to life after a low point, what renews you, makes you grow?

Take your favorite quote, song, or idea, and put it into an art form.

*Size: 8 ½ by 5 ½ (this would be a half sheet of cardstock, or a half piece of copier paper) Or 5 X 7

Somewhere on this (can be the back) have the quote, song or idea written down.

Have fun!

These will need to be sent so I have them by March 21st. Please include $3-$5 for postage.

As many people may sign up as want to.

I would like everyone to make one extra, to send to Medusa and Jack for all the hard work they put into this space where we come together and form lasting friendships. <3

I got my valentine's! All I can say is, we got talent here!

Thank you Tommi for your efforts. My Valentine's day has turned into a week plus!

Onto the spring project. I'm ending up making 14 to include some friends. Can I just say, there will be Inchies involved...like 126 of them. I'm busy ! But nothing else I'd rather do :) ( well...you know ;). )

Good idea about making extras. Once you are into it, it becomes more fun, and each one seems to get better. I have the quote I want to share, now about creating it on something that will support my it.:mohawk:

It's a piece of art made on a 1 X 1 inch square. Similar to the idea of an Artist Trading Card, but scaled down.

I wrangled an inchie swap a little while ago and you would be surprised what you can do within an inch!!! Everyone's ideas were amazing.

But 126 of them? Holy shit. I don't know how you guys do it sometimes! Everything takes me forever, which sometimes makes it difficult to sign up for projects.

A Spring like Day!

It is 40 degrees (yes, above zero!) in Minnesota and the sun has been peeking out from under the clouds!

How are the projects coming along? You have about a week and a few days to get them in the mail to me along with $3-$5 dollars to defray postage costs...I need them by the 21st!

I hope you're all having fun doing them, I am starting mine now that I have all the supplies I needed!

Good to hear people checking in here and letting me know where they are...I'm allowing a few extra days for people, but definitely will be mailing out the packages for everyone to see other's artwork by the 29th, so everyone should be able to see everyone else's by the next weekend. :cheesy: :cheer:
