The following is what I, as a (butch) woman have (or not) in my house:

I don't drink alcohol. No alcohol in my house.

I work with dogs every day. No dogs (or cats or critters) in my house.

I love to cook. I have a well stocked pantry and fridge. I don't like anyone messing around in my kitchen, although I will make exceptions on occasion and try not to lose my mind in the process. I prefer to cook and you do the dishes.

I'm not crafty or creative in that sense. No macrame plant hangers..........actually no plants in my house at this time. Maybe I will have them again at some time.

Most all my books are in storage. I live in a studio apartment.

I have a double bed.....I live in a studio apartment. What idiot would not put clean sheets on the bed if you have a date coming over for supper?

My house is clean, especially the bathroom and kitchen.

I live in CA and have been recycling for at least 20 years.

I can tolerate limited smelly candles, incense. I do have some in my house. I prefer fresh air to smelly stuff.

I have bubble bath stuff because I like to take a bubble bath on occasion. It's not really smelly though. I have a 'dyke' labeled pushy thingy soap dispenser in my bathroom. Don't have that at my kitchen sink.

I have plenty of coffee mugs of all sizes. Pick what you want for this stay.

I have a nice deck with a little creek gurgling. This creek runs behind my building and you can hear it at night when all is quiet.

Maybe, later, I will post what I want to see in a femme's house. We will both be women so that well be an interesting comparison on what different types of women want in their home.

Things i would love to see.....

Flowers, flowers and more flowers, sweet smelling lovely flowers.

Sunshine through the window.

Whispy shears letting in the gentle breeze.

Pictures of "your" family.

A clean bathroom.

Books on everything.

Music, and preferrably 70s rock.

A comfy cosey couch to snuggle on.

Dim lighting with candles that smell heavenly

knick nacks that show "your" personality

dang it all to hell.....see this is where I so fail miserably........I had my uterus and cervix removed in 1982 (where you born then?? <grin>) and I just have never ever bought tampons for my house since then. I don't bleed and haven't for years.........it's just not on my radar..........

I am a utter and complete failure .........:badscore:

This thread may be depressing me.

I am, how shall I say this... spartan. Perhaps infamously so. (SHUT IT JUNE).

I'm not opposed to having nice things or things especially for the mythical "her", but I like everything in my home to serve a purpose. There's very little in my home that is extraneous.

I prefer my Kindle to books. I prefer my Netflix via Wii to DVDs. I think you get the idea... simple and uncluttered.

Perhaps to a fault.

How do you share a kindle?

Simple. I don't. For me convenience trumps loanability. I travel far too much to carry books with me. Kindle is with me all the time.

Then again I did gift someone with my "old" Kindle which is still attached to my Amazon account and she's able to read all of the books I've bought. But that's just one person.

I don't care whats in it, or what colors she picks... or how she wants furniture arranged.

The house is hers, the garage, yard and shop is all MINE. :cheesy:

As long as I pick up after myself, I don't face the :bananasplit:

I dont have a top 10, but she does.:police:

LOL. Sounds like me, except instead of garage, yard and shop I have an office and "man cave" (for cigars and such) :cheesy:

Hey, :(
Can I have a garage with a shop - or at least a LARGE shed- for all my power tools AND a small loft for my art stuff?
Just askin' ;) for when I'm asked to do another oil change. I'll be sure to put my vanity with all my "femmie" stuff up in the art loft.

Andrew,
Can I put extra power strips down on my Xmas list?

Ahhh...

I'm antiquated in that I like the feel and heft of a book.. Although the thought of having a couple hundred books at my finger tip when stuck at the airport is very nice...
