I'm generally not a fan of waking up. It's when I have the best potential to be Mr. Crabass.

Right click the image you want, click "copy image location" (windows 7) or "copy URL" or what ever your version of windows shows for that... then come back and click the insert image icon (the little postcard looking thing) and then insert (paste) the image location in the pop-up... and click "ok"... =) Should work... if not you may need Linus.

Try clicking and dragging it to your desktop and then load it into photobucket. Grab the IMG code from photobucket and then put that into the picture linky thang ^^ up there.

I love the old marble slabs - not many left now. It's those horrible stainless steel ones........Ugh! They have no character....... and they're not great for sleeping on, either, lol!

There are only a few left in the abandonments we photograph for sure. I loved this one because it was the first we managed to get into see...we also had to move a huge structure that covered it, it took 3 of us lil un's - Scary Mary, Muse & Dr.Doo - and huge big MagooČ to actually move the protective structure. Of course we put it back again when we'd taken all the shots we wanted. Many of the slabs have been vandalised. I will find a picture of the broken slab a Denby Asylum when I return from having tea with Tinkerbell.

The slabs that have been 'saved' are in storage or Pathology Museums. There are a few (not many) Embalming rooms with marble slabs, but, they are rapidly being replaced with new modern ones. A shame in some ways, but, that's 'progress' for you, lol!

I actually like this shot too...and forgot I had it.
The dress is still in my closet...and may see daylight again at next year's Reunion. :rrose:

Are you an urbexer or are you talking about slabs still in current use? The places we see are abandoned and/or being developed, sometimes quite derelict. One of my favourites could be said to be a graffiti art installation. Wonderful place.
