Hmmmm, my indulgences:

Hair and hair products...Ohhhhhhh yeah
Nails...I LOVE and ROCK outrageous, bling encrusted, 3d, unique and trendy acrylic nails and matching/coordinating pedi...

Otherwise, I'm pretty frugal and boring...lol

every once in a great while I will purchase some make up. I use my make up until its gone. I dont buy alot of many colors and new styles. I tend to buy one thing, use it until I use it up and then buy something else. I bought a delicious fuschia lipstick a few months ago (actually chrissy bought it for me) that is my all time ever favorite lipstick!

vacations or summer rentals in pretty places
books -- less every year, but still
online entertainment -- Amazon Prime, Netflix, Audible, and music purchases
cats -- vet bills have been high this year, and they eat well
flowers and treats for special others
good beer and good cheese
going out to movies and meals or to hear music -- scary expensive anymore

I am going to start accupuncture. So that.

I'm notoriously tight with money, so my little splurges on discount CDs from Daedalus never amount to more than a relatively tiny sum for the weird ethnic folk, historic baroque recordings, and other arcane musical treasures I find in their catalogue.

I allow myself to splurge on discount/remainder art books from time to time. Years ago my, ahem, library already weighed just over one ton. But, neither books nor music are the real wallet vacuumers.

My true indulgence is motorcycles. I'll buy whatever I need to keep my bikes running well, and I'll pay mechanics shocking sums to work on them when I can't fix them myself. I'll miss lucrative work days, drive for as much as six hours, and buy many gallons of high octane fuel in order to drag my knees around a race track on a fast bike.

Im huge on penny pinching. I don't spend money on a bunch of random shit.

Unless you count chocolate as random shit, or good coffee.

Thats my indulgence.

I happen to have a lot of them. Art supplies, books, candles, extra items I call bathroom supplies (toothbrushes and toothpaste), picture frames, journaling supplies, big thick bath towels in all colours, quilts, and then there are those things I get a little crush on, piggy banks for a while, netsuke boxes for a while, glass balls for a while, dead girl dolls for a while...

Books for me
Curriculum/literature for my daughter.

I can easily pass up clothes, trips, music, eating out. But walk me into a book store? Forget it. Especially a used bookstore. Partay!
