To post youtubes:

Choose your video

Look in the browser address, it will say something like this:
http : //www.youtube. com/watch?v=Ona42jz8w0k

Don't use all of it, just copy the last bit, after the v

Click on the youtube icon at the top of the posting box and paste it in

-> =Ona42jz8w0k <- This bit

hey guys, i posted some videos in the "what are you listening too" thread a couple of hours ago... and they're still not loaded- very weird.:|

Not sure if i messed up the whole thread, or.... :blink: if someone needs to delete my post to get it up and running again, it's all good!

Sooooo, if i DID mess it up, can y'all tell me what i did wrong, so that i don't do it again?

Do your videos usually show up?

Check the code and try to repost them. Otherwise, it might be a case of embedding being disabled on those videos. Youtube flags certain videos as unable to embed.

So just say (not that this is TRUE or anything - okay, yes it is) that I no longer have the email address that I signed up here with because I discontinued the service that was providing that email address - AND I cannot change my email address over here because I can't remember my password.

Because of the miracle of cookies I am able to stay logged in and stuff, which is nice and all...but what should I do? Is Linus able to reset my password for me or change the email address associated with my account over here?

And how can I prove that I'm me? ;)

yep, they always show up.
there's a couple of us who have went in there, and it still shows the whole page is trying to load- all but mine are loaded! its really weird.

i can't go in and edit to delete it all, or i would- sorry!!

I always preview before I post videos because I've personally missed something in the codes
