In Ontario, near Colborne. Apparently it's the biggest apple-shaped structure in the world.

Aim high, Colborne. Clearly you are a people who had a dream.

There's an orange-shaped building in Florida.

I've called this my Kitsch Tour of America for years, so let's go. I'll drive.

I want to hit Graceland
Cadillac Ranch
Giant balls of twine
Houses made of tin cans
Water tower smiley face
Coffee pot architecture
Muffler men!

you could always do pics of you two eating at the diners and call it "eating lesbians". you could sell it in a plain brown wrapper. (just an odd little fantasy of mine...it's all about marketing)

oh oh oh...or call it "girls eating out" or somesuch.

You want pitchers of your wives in a book called "Eating Lesbians"? :|

Hey! Why don't you come along and take the aforementioned pitchers? :)

you know, if we were to organize enough folks for this tour, we could call it the "gypsy queeravan".

i smell potential here. bent and adele could do the writing and i'd be happy to work the cameras.

who has the sign up sheet?

Whatsa geegaw? :|

little man 06-05-2010 08:34 AM

sharing is caring

my immediate goal:

to be semi-retired in 2.5 years. that allows me a couple of years to pay off all debt i currently have, and to redo the inside of the RV to suit my needs. then, it's off to hit the road. i plan to spend the rest of my life traveling and shooting (hopefully, i'll find a picture pimp to help me subsidize the traveling with picture sales).

today, this is my entire life's goal and plan.

This might sound really strange, but...

In the past, I've always had a plan and after reading your forum thread here, I'm thinking that this might be the way for me to go - from now on - just make a random (or weird) goal to work toward and then see if anything seems to happen as planned.

ravfem 08-06-2010 09:33 AM

my goal for today is to sit up straight

foxyshaman 08-06-2010 01:28 PM

I want to study OM :praying:... the symbol, the meanings and the philosophy behind it. 3's have been a central part of my spiritual searches :detective: and understanding. I think I could learn it and apply the knowledge in wacky and wonderful shamanic ways... or that is my odd goal for now... who knows I could want to collect beer caps...oh wait I hate beer... scratch that idea!!!

I am so glad that someone included the Giant Peach in SC. And our family has always called it the Peach Butt as well.

Years ago I had the goal of hiking the Applachian Trail and it's sister trail up mountain from Ridgecrest CA; forgetting the name at the moment. And I did it.

My latest goal is to matt and frame every single completed painting and get them either hung up or sold!!!!

cinnamongrrl 04-17-2013 03:44 PM

Hike the A.T.

and

Have an alpaca farm....

and

become fluent in Spanish

Smiling 06-18-2013 05:00 PM

Some of the more obscure goals I have....

Juggling.
Riding a unicycle.
Backflips.

lol, maybe I should run away and join the circus. My life is a little bit of a clown car right now....

Kätzchen 12-26-2013 08:05 PM

Long range (within a year): update my passport

Mid-range (within half a year): go visit my family

short-term range (with a few weeks): go shopping for anything other than grocery store items; I would love to have some new spring and summer clothes, shoes too.

Bèsame* 12-27-2013 12:30 AM

Enjoy a Merry little white Christmas...one day :)

I want to have earned both a CAGS in Math, Science and Learning Technologies and my professional license.

I want to have started a viable robotics program at the public high school where I teach math.

I want to have long curly hair to my waist.

And, I want to be good to my precious body and get into better physical shape.

I have reached all of these goals.

How about that?

All relatively easily achieved apart from the backflips (I could do those in m'youth but no longer). If you lived closer I'd give you lessons :cheesy:

Aww, well now I'm just gonna spend the rest of the day cursing my English ancestors for throwing their stupid tea in the harbor! They screwed me outta my juggling, unicycle, and backflip lessons, damnit. Bastards!

They should've just paid their taxes already.

:badmood:

lol
