The last movie I saw at the movies was Source Code ... it was good, but it's definitely a movie you need to be tuned in to while watching.

:koolaid:

Mitmo01 05-16-2011 06:44 PM

G-Force which was soooo cute

and a korean movie called "Oldboy" which was good but disturbing....dont watch it if your depressed it was just sad....

Fancy 05-16-2011 06:49 PM

Waiting for Superman - a documentary about US schools and the educational system. I thought it was eye opening, if a bit dramatic, but it did well to convey the director's message.

Canela 05-16-2011 07:30 PM

I saw BRIDESMAIDS this weekend and it was fabulous!

Lillie 05-16-2011 07:32 PM

I actually watched "I love you Beth Cooper" for the first time this weekend. and i found it funny..I think Im digressing

Dutch Leonard 05-16-2011 07:39 PM

Tideland and Blues Brothers 2000

I watched Tideland, directed by Terry Gilliam and Blues Brothers 2000, a musical with car crashes.

We TRIED to see that but Redbox was out of them.

We watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows tonight.

I'm ticked. That's all I'm going to say. They irritated me fairly early on, but they did a bad, bad thing in the last 15 minutes of the movie.

I think I laughed the loudest in the theater! So hilarious!

Camo Eagle 05-17-2011 12:44 AM

Unstoppable
The Conspiracy of Fear

Martina 05-17-2011 01:05 AM

The Fighter. Good, i guess. Great performances that's for sure.

Random 05-17-2011 01:33 AM

Iron Man 2
The Legacy...

Mitmo hadn't ever seen the Legacy, so I made her watch it... She said it wasn't half bad for a seventies satanic thriller....

heh

Iron Man 2.. I like the cgi and the chick who played black widow did an outstanding job (except for the american accent when Natasha was russian) Maybe it would have been better on the big screen, but I felt like the story line was a bit light...

I have a hard time when they make comix into movies... If it's a comix that I know, then I nit pic it to death... I have a hard time *suspending belief*

Camo Eagle 05-21-2011 10:12 PM

Latest Chronicle of Narnia
Triage - great movie about the PTSD suffered by a war photographer.

ruffryder 05-21-2011 10:15 PM

Fast Five at the movies. wished there was more fast & furious racing but it was still bad ass. ****

No Strings Attached rented. I <3 it. Then again I like Kutcher's movies. This movie I will buy! *****

Gemme 05-24-2011 12:02 PM

This weekend, we saw Bridesmaids and both of us loved it.

At home, we've seen (via redbox and Netflix):

Backwash-it's hideous and a waste of an hour and a half. It ties with Punch Drunk Love for worst movie we've ever seen.

No Strings Attached-it was cute, though Natalie started to lose me towards the end. I wanted to smack her.

EnderD_503 05-24-2011 12:09 PM

Saw With Love from Le(z)banon and Pa(lez)stine at the Inside Out film festival here in Toronto. Was really great and ended with a talk about homosexuality in Egyptian film. I recommend it to anyone who gets the chance to see it.

Fancy 05-24-2011 12:18 PM

Recently watched...

Grand Torino

and

Million Dollar Baby

...and felt the director's view on life and harsh reality smacking me in the face. Both movies left me deep in thought.

Camo Eagle 05-24-2011 11:38 PM

Dark House
Cheesy B rated horror - dont waste your time.

PinkieLee 05-25-2011 07:11 AM

OMG.... we saw Bridesmaids a few days ago. I swear that I laughed so hard, I had tears rolling down my face! I think that we are even going back to see it again with D's mom!

**yep, this one is definitely gonna be added to the movie collection**

Love it!

We watched Stone with Robert DeNiro and Ed Norton.
2 thumbs up!!!

wolfbittenpoet 05-25-2011 01:57 PM

Green Hornet
I thought it really captured the original radio serial. It was very very cool.

kannon 05-25-2011 02:59 PM

Thor

http://youtu.be/uHBnrJowBZE

the best movie I've seen this year.

NJFemmie 05-25-2011 03:21 PM

Despicable Me. Loved it.

I'm playing catch up on my movies.

pajama 05-25-2011 03:50 PM

Pirates of the Carribean, On Stranger Tides.

You know, I have loved, loved, loved all of them. But really getting to number four in a series can get old. So I was very apprehensive about this one, specially since it didn't have Orlando Blume or the girl in it. Well it was still a great movie. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I hope to see Thor soon, depends on what Mme is in the mood to see tomorrow night since I will be getting her off the mountain for the second time this year. LOL

Ginger Snaps

The Gingerbread Man!

Semantics 05-28-2011 08:09 AM

Late last night I watched A Beautiful Life, which is a low budget film based on a play that I liked.

It didn't translate to film very well. Even Debi Mazar's four minutes as the hot librarian couldn't save it.

Kobi 05-28-2011 08:37 AM

The Way Back - Colin Farrell, Ed Harris

During WWII, Siberian gulag escapees walk 4000 miles overland to freedom in India.

A wonderful tribute to the human spirit, the will to survive, and the benefits of cooperation.

Venus007 05-28-2011 10:38 AM

Friends and Family

It was a campy movie about a gay couple who are also lieutenants for a mafia don.
One of the men is just beautiful in that cartoon way.
The story is silly and I found it to be charming.

starryeyes 05-28-2011 11:41 AM

Soul Surfer

It was very good and inspirational!! I recommend it!

Starry

Elijah 05-28-2011 11:49 AM

Just watched watch Stone...Ed Norton is a great actor. Good movie, but heavy. Still digesting.

NJFemmie 05-28-2011 03:23 PM

I just got Part One of Harry Potter and Gnomeo and Juliet. Plan on watching it this weekend. Woot.

Camo Eagle 05-28-2011 08:04 PM

I went Saturday with two friends to see "The Hangover 2." Yes it was funny, I think I like the first better but the second certainly had its moments.
