my grandchildren, pets, walking in the rain, watching the sun rise while i drink my first cup of coffee, making things with my hands, waving to strangers, making origami cranes for little kids, listening to kd lang sing to me, feeling the sun on my skin, the breeze through my hair, planting seeds, seeing them poke their little heads through the dirt, live chickens, ballsy women, cuddling with another, watch the night sky, getting laughs, hugs from anyone, ....

I love the very early morning time before the sun comes up. The city is asleep, the moon is still hanging effortlessly and the quiet is caressing my thoughts. It is a new day, a new beginning.

I love playing with our pet ratties, Ginny and Lemon. Aka "Beau Skinny" and "Skimmen."

They are such a trip to watch as they skitter and bounce about, but what I really love is when they sit in the crook of my arm and let me gently scratch their heads and administer a little rattie massage to their backs and side. They love it and I just get such a kick and feeling good moments from it.

I love how the world looks at night all dressed in crisp sparkling white snow. So bright, clean & fresh. It's quieter too in the snow.

I also love cookies.

I love when our small dog stretches out against my side between me and the space heater.
