We have a standing date every week night for Jeopardy. Other than that if we watch anything it is hit or miss.

Storage Wars - when something mindless is desired
Without a Trace
Criminal Minds
Harry's Law - just started dvring, will find time to watch
Bones - I should dvr this too

My honey likes to watch Judge Judy, Maury, Jerry Springer, etc whenever life feels a bit odd. He says these shows make him feel 'normal'. LOL

Novelafemme 11-16-2011 07:18 AM

I've never been a big TV watcher, but now days, in between all the business in my jam-packed life, I find that it's a great way to unwind!

Tonight is American Horror Story!!! YAY! :) Followed by Modern Family tomorrow night. That show has me in stitches some nights!

Words 11-16-2011 08:20 AM

1. Any documentary dealing with the weird, wonderful, or gruesome.

2. Antiques/auction shows.

3. The Real Housewives of New York City (are those women for real?)

1. I won't miss, 2. I'll watch if I've nothing better to do, and 3. I'll watch only because everyone needs a vice of some sort so this might as well be mine.

Apart from that, I'm not a huge TV watcher and will have it on simply for background noise while I do something 'constructive'.

I am currently marvelling (sometimes recoiling) at Man vs Food and Drivers, Diners and Dives.

You guys eat some odd victuals over there according to those programmes. Then again, y'all probably think we eat some odd shite over here too :cheesy:

If you're a BBC fan then you have to check out the latest season of Mongrels.

Piers Morgan is a media seeking twit!!

He was an immoral (in my opinion) newspaper editor too

I wasn't really missing TV until this thread popped up....hmmm.

Well I don't have TV, but I have Hulu....so I watch
Bones (finally thank god the new season started)
Terra Nova
Grimm
Last Man Standing

and still waiting on the new season of Hot in Cleveland.

I started watching Once, but have become quickly disillusioned...it seams like a soap opera. I much prefer Grimm.

imperfect_cupcake 11-25-2013 01:23 AM

I don't have a TV so I watch things on line - I download them often.

1 - Horizon (BBC investigative science)
2 - Downton Abbey
3 - The Paradise (rather bad BBC period drama about the first department store, loosely based around selfridges I'm guessing. It's that kind of thing)
4 - QI (science-y/history based quiz show)
5 - Mock the Week (news based quiz show)
6 - Nevermind the buzzcocks (music based quiz show)
7 - Have I got News for You (news based quiz show)
8- looking forward to the new Dr Who

However my VPN provider isn't working and I can't watch my quiz shows or the BBC iplayer for the history series or science series that come up. which is very irritating.
