One of my coworkers who has had an especially difficult year knitted me the most beautiful scarf! I love it and am so touched at her thoughtfulness.
The mother of one of my housemates sent a pressie for me! Again, so thoughtful! My boss won't be eating Christmas dinner alone. We're having it together! And I'll be getting time and a half while doing so! Bonus!!! Tomorrow is payday!!! I think I've got all my financials under control so that I may be able to go 'adopt' a Christmas tree angel at one of the stores. I love picking out the goodies for kids. I feel very blessed this year and passing on a little bit of love and good fortune can only make it better. |

1. NO line at the downtown post office this afternoon at 2:30 p.m.
2. My brother and sister-in-law's package will arrive on Saturday. Only 1 day late! *phew* 3. It didn't cost a fortune to mail. 4. I managed to get all my Christmess [sic] shopping (including groceries!) done in less than 4 hours. 5. Pizza Hut is still delivering and my dinner is soon to arrive. |

I like Albertson's. They are much cheaper than QFC or Safeway. I want a :rudreindeer: for Christmas. I've wanted one since I was oh, about 6. The big guy never leaves one behind though. *sigh* |

A new year and the ability to make a fresh start (or do a do over) in several areas of my life.
Guac and salsa and chips. I'll finish them off tonight. Music. It soothes the savage beast as well as making the world go 'round. My honey, though he feels terrible today. At least I have no worries of him not being safe. The TV, bed and (damned) Snuggy can only hurt him so much. Reflecting on myself and this past year. Making lemonade, baby!
1. I finally put my writings on a flash drive (after losing the last one).
2. Even though I found out a program I wanted to participate in was shut down before it got off the ground, I learned about a new program that won't save me as much money as the first one would have, but still save me more than I'm dishing out now. I signed myself up pronto before this one bit the dust too! 3. My boss burped in my face and it was putrid, BUT he had helped me out with someone I didn't feel like dealing with, so I held my breath and let it go. 4. I have more time to play online tonight because my last check in called and said they won't be here until much later. 5. I have Corn Pops and Fruit Loops for dinner! Of course, this was not my intended dinner but I ate the second half of my sub earlier. Luckily, I luv me some Pops 'n Loops! |
