now dat is a great one... |
I have a strong dislike for the smell of cantaloup, so much in fact that not only will I not eat it, I cannot sit at the table while someone else eats it. It smells like stinky-wet-haven't-been-washed-in-a-year gym socks. :sock:
What I do love is the smell of fresh roasted coffee beans, preferably over a campfire after dinner. |

I get my bay rum as an essential oil from a local place here called Tenzing Momo...it's a Chinese Apothecary that carries all kinds of obscure things. Oooh those candles would ROCK!! And may I add to the list of my smelly good stuff: Bayberry candles (the real deal, not those imitation ones) Silver fir trees Cedar Middle Eastern food....it just has a delightful smell...probably from the combination of spices. (Like ras-el-hanout or harissa) |
Smelly things?
Good smelly things...
Cigars (good ones, not drug store ones). Blue Cheese. Clean babies. Turkey in the oven on Thanksgiving. A sweaty armpit (yeah...I kinda like this). Light cologne or aftershave. Baking bread. Curry. Strong coffee, first thing in the morning. Cut grass in the summertime. Burning wood in the fall or winter. Hot apple pie. Bourbon. |

Sorry, just saw this. No the Bay Rum aftershave I am using atm is another brand that I can't think of right this minute...Gabels or something like that, but I do also use Pinaud Clubman aftershave lotions as well as the talc. It's excellent for an everyday aftershave. I know it's ancient as dirt, but I like it and get good compliments on it. :)

i also adore orange-patchouli body wash from da eco store... |
I miss smelling like horses. The smell that is not quite sweaty, but a little sweet actually. It consumes your clothing as if you were at a smokey campfire. When at my sisters farm she has 5 horses and they all know me. Lovin up on them, and helping take care of them grows on ya. Anyhow, I miss smelling like them, and having my cat try and figure out what/who I have been around!

I love the beautiful heavy and full scent of the gay men's "let's fuck" perfumes. Woof. It actually makes me a bit sexually dizzy when hugged by a butch wearing it cause all it says to me is "sex, on the floor, now" |
Good smells:
The smell of leather, it smells of sex to me and quickens my pulse The smell of campfires bring thoughts of calm and tranquil days The smell of real vanilla, I just love it and find it soothing |

hot mint tea, fresh baked bread, clean baby, freshly mowed lawn.

Any sort of book store has an amazing aroma and brings me to life. The books themselves touch my nose as well. Making love in a sex of book would be so erotic surrounded by the aroma.
|
Oh my where to start...
Fresh baked bread. or anything baking. Lemon verbena ,reminds me of my grannie cause it was the only scent she wore. Prince Albert pipe tobacco,my gramps smoked it in his pipe. Bey rum. Fresh cut hay. Old Spice after shave, grandpa again. Waking up before dawn and having a cup of coffee on the porch smelling the fresh new day start. Horse feed,I know strange.. The scent of roses. Being out on the river lazing along drag line fishing. The smells of the forest.. The new car smell. |
I love the smell of old, worn leather baseball gloves & old book binding; a slight whiff of gasoline and motor oil, the smell of natural "India Rubber" balls and erasers, new tires and new vinyl dolls. I love the smell of freshly plowed loamy soil, and lilac when it's misty outside--freshly cut hay, and freshly cut watermelon, freshly brewed coffee & strong, warm tea when it's poured over cracked ice. I love the smell of old wood polished with linseed oil, and bow rosin, starched linen in the sun, the smell of Ivory soap on a woman's skin, Jergen's cherry/almond lotion, baby shampoo, and Pinesol when it hits hot water...Wintergreen Lifesavers when someone bites down on one, peeled grapefruit, the scent of Tigerbalm mixed with clean woolen socks. Meh, too many things to mention. Too many scents that literally stop me dead in my tracks & sucker-punch my senses with a wave of feelings that I'm incapable of accurately describing.
