hahahaha you two sound like me and Ms Cyn

someone has to be the hardass and I dont have it in me to do feline discipline at all....

the cats get away with murder around me and she can lay the hammer down lol

I had no idea that cats were trainable lmfao...

Sapph 02-09-2010 09:53 AM

She claims to get on to them, but I think she just tells me that so I'll feel better when I get home and make them behave.

Glad to see we arent the only odd ducks lol

Mitmo01 02-09-2010 09:57 AM

no you are not the only ones thats fo sho

the cats know that they can pretty much ignore my warnings about discipline and that i dont really have it in me at all lol....

Now my woman is a different story they know she will follow through with her threats lol

im a sucker for a feline lol....any animal really lol..a sucker for a cute face lol

VuDu 02-09-2010 09:59 AM

Ha!!!!!

Who, at this very moment, is teaching the new punk the word "off"? hmm? However, I am leaving at it when it comes to the free-for-all bone run. They steal each other's anyway so I am staying out of it.

Sapph 02-09-2010 10:01 AM

Probably, only because he's getting on your nerves lol

NJFemmie 02-09-2010 10:27 AM

My poor girl cat goes on time out every night when we go to bed. We have to leave her downstairs because she tends to sing pitiful, LOUD songs in the middle of the night, as she walks throughout the house. It's EVERYWHERE, lol. She started doing that after her brother died. I wonder if she's calling for him.

I am also wondering if she is losing her hearing. She does not hear me walking up behind her anymore. :( Poor old puss ... it's not easy getting old.

Heading back to my corner with a light snack. Somedays I feel the need to practice self bondage.

Cats are indeed very trainable..

Let me tell you about Sis (tiger/spotted grey cat) and her kitty game...

Once in a while she darts out the front door and hides under the stairs... That is her part... The human's part is to plead with her and try to catch her as she either goes inbetween the stairs (if you come around the back to get her) or to run around the stairs (if you reach in to get her).. and dart up to the second landing...

It's great fun for her and she will play forever if you let her... If you just leave her out there, she will come sit by the door (most of the time) until you open it and then she will dart back under the stairs..

Good Times..

Until I moved in...

How I play the kitty game...

Open door, hands full of laundry basket.. (this is the ONLY time she will try and play kitty games with me) Sis darts out, and hids under the stairs...

I say.. Sis... Get back in the house....

I go about taking the laundry into the laundry room.. ignoring said cat..

When I am done, I walk into the apt, close the door, get my squirt bottle, open the door and Look at her...

Sis comes in the apt.... With a look on her face like.. *Ah, Man.. you NEVER let me have any fun*

I've actually never squirted her.. The first time she met my bottle.. I squirted the wall.. She high tailed it into the apt like the hounds of hell were after her.. The second time, I squirted between the stairs.. between her and the wall... Same thing...

Now.. I just show it too her and the game is over...

Now we have moved on to keeping her OFF the prep table... SOMEONE started feeding her up there when me and my two cats moved in... Now she thinks it's her spot.... It's not.. It has food on it, therefore it is not a place for cats..

My sweet butch up there would let her babies do anything that made them happy... lol.. I'm not so nice...

Self flagellation is kinda fun .. sorta. But it's better when someone else is doing it *winky wink*

Wow! What a time out from work!

Okay so, not only did we get about 2 feet of snow last week, we got another 2 feet or so Tuesday night into Wednesday. Needless to say, I was off from work Wednesday and yesterday (woot!). My muscles ache like hell from all of the shoveling - but to be home from work was worth it.

So, I come to work and find out that we had a blackout, which caused my hard drive to commit hari-kari. :blah: Two trips to the store for memory and a hard drive, and I am hoping it will be fixed on Monday.

So... not only did I get a time out from work, I am timed out AT work!
AND it's Friday!
AND I have the next two days off!
AND Mare scheduled herself off from work on Sunday!
.... I should play the lottery ....

Have a great weekend!

I really wish I could show it you, it's quite hysterical...I have yet to work out how to get it online...my friends made a sterling effort in making their own versions of the puppets, we had such fun.

Oh, I LOVE that. In fact, the very first time I heard this song was on SNL when Justin did this dance. I think of that skit every time I hear the song.

Sure, blame the immigrants for EVERYTHING

I think this really should have been titled "Immigrants Bring Doom" or "End Of The World Caused by Immigration"....

Thousands of Dutch Prepare for 2012 Apocalypse
Tuesday, 03 November 2009

Many people in the Netherlands expect the world to end in 2012 and thousands say they are taking precautions to prepare for the apocalypse.

According to United Press International, theories on the supposed catastrophe varied, most tied the 2012 date to the end of the Mayan calendar.

Many of those are stocking up on emergency supplies, including life rafts and other equipment.

Some were optimistic about the end of civilization, saying they no longer want to live in the modern world.

(Here comes the funny stuff) "You know, maybe it's really not that bad that the Netherlands will be destroyed," one of the believers said. "I don't like it here anymore. Take immigration, for example. They keep letting people in. And then we have to build more houses, which makes the Netherlands even heavier. The country will sink even lower, which will make the flooding worse."
Information from: UPI.com, http://www.upi.com/

Also, makes you wonder what are they building their houses with over there, no?

Time out for me.
