Same here sweetie!!! But the rain turned into snow about three hours ago. And we know what snow does to aching bones right? Nice to look at (in photos of someplace far away)!

In an insane burst of optimism two of my nephews decided to build a skating rink last night. We have no idea why! It was warm out and the forecasters say temps will be like this for a few days.
They won't shovel the sidewalks but will shovel snow off the back yard! go figure.

It was in the 70's all day today, then as evening approached the winds kicked in and by nightfall it was pouring...next is the cold. :(

At least here, the cold rarely lasts for more than a few days then we are back in the 70's again.

Not here yet, but ...

we're getting a blizzard!!

That means more shoveling for me, but it may mean Mare gets to stay home!
... and I don't mind shoveling.

:)

we ended up with about 4 inches or so.
I went out on the porch a while ago and our streets are icky frozen!
so, I reckon it's a good thing I'm in for the day!

I posted snow pics in my gallery. I promised myself that if it snowed like last year I'd buy a snow blower. Last year I got stuck twice and couldnt get out my drive. My driveway is a few hundred feet.

I'm guessing around 6 inches and more coming tonight. I'd rather have snow then 20 degree freezing rain and ice any day!

Blizzard in Brooklyn! :)

Guess I'll be working from home tomorrow - yay for remote access!!

Now if only we could get this kittens on the next block to understand that we're trying to catch them for their own good. dammit. Hope they make it thru if we can't get them to cooperate.

we have 6. The kittens I'm referring to are neighborhood strays we've been feeding. Just worried about them out in the snow. However, they don't seem to want to be rescued. hopefully they have a place to hole up for the nite.

Kobi 12-26-2010 06:19 PM

Snow, rain, snow, rain.....dont know whether to shovel or build an ark yet.

Wetness I dont mind. Its the winds I am not happy about. Gusting to 60 already and the worst of it isnt even here yet.

Flickering electricity is screwing with my football. This is not acceptable. Who do I complain to?
