Hello Houston!

I'm new here and wanted to stop by and say HI! to my hometown! :)

I'll be down from Dallas to celebrate Pride with some of my oldest and closest friends! Consider yourselves WARNED! :)

(BTW...I'd suggest Baba Yega's instead of House of Pies. But when dining at House of Pies, I always recommend the Turtle Cheesecake! It's simply DIVINE!)

There are TONS of activites and events the week leading up to the Parade Grand Finale, beginning with Opening Ceremonies June 18th! I've included the link to all the festivities below. Enjoy!

Well we usually always meet up at Baba yegas, we are just trying to do something a little different this time. I m sure Baba's will be soooo packed that day.

Lol! I'm sure everything's going to be packed that day! Sorry for horning in, I think I was just missing some of my old haunts!

I'll be in town from the 22nd-26th, but unfortunately, my dance card is very full! :) If time allows, I'd love to pop in and meet all of you though!

changing meetin places is good. it gives me a chance to try out all kinda places in Houston.

WT and I get the Chili size at the House of pie's and got to love those pie's.. Wt and her son are leaving for Lufkin tomorrow for fathers day where her dad lives.
And we have that 12 hr deep sea fishing trip on the 9th of July in Galveston if anyone is going to go with us.

Mr. Jenny is totally going. She would like me to go but she questions whether there is enough space on the boat to be cluttering it up with non-fishers? B/c fishing is strictly a spectator sport for me.

got rain here today, it only lasted 5 mins but it was better then nuttin.

they're still sayin rain on Thursday, I really hope so. article in newspaper said today that since Jan 1st, there has only been 6" of rain here. .24 inches since June 1st.

I had to swerve on a hwy the other day cuz a gator was crossing the road, I know he was lookin for water. and the other side of the road was dry as well.

between the fires and animals and plants, trees...really hope we got some rain and soon.

WT and I are going to house of pie's
Westheimer and Gessner got 3 min of down pour this morning but we didn't get any in Katy or here where we live at

You would have to call and ask them what it cost for spectator rates *S* Stopped off at Sports Clips and got my hair cut tonight after work. Its really bad when a patient and my Medical Assistant say's, Isn't it time for a haircut LOL

i did a google search for the location of house of pies and it shows two of them in Houston. so, which one? what is address?

It was great seeing everyone again and meeting ppl that I have never met.

the Pride Parade was awesome. I may or may not be sore today :|

this is the first time in my life that I am sore the next day from watching a pride parade ..lol
