I slept in and Ernie didn't bother me once. In fact, I think my furball was just as happy to sleep in. We had plans to go to the bark-park this morning, but its a chilly one. I may need to turn the heat back on. Today is all about relaxing. I plan on watching the premier league game at noon, then probably more March Madness. |
Reading sunday paper...sipping on a mocha. A trip to costco is later today.

It is promises of another beautiful day here. I want to get into the pool later this afternoon!! I have a glazed ham to bake, sweet potatoes (yams), and creamed corn. I am enjoying this morning, reading posts here, and having my chocolate milk. Hoping everyone has a pleasant day, with some chocolate or Peeps....I can have ONE of either!!! Even though it is a warm 84° here it is also very cloudy and expected to remain that way with thunderstorms on the way in for tomorrow. Lazy Sunday for me so far. I've ingested some coffee and just ate a ham and cheese melt thingie and that's about as far as I've gotten. I am back in bed and don't want to get up and out of it! Maybe motivation will strike me soon...I do have papers to grade (as always). :blink:

Happy Sunday, everyone! Although it's afternoon now, I was actually awake this morning. Hopefully that will be my habit from now on; I started a new job this past week and I have to get up at 5:30 am to get to work, so in no way can I switch my sleeping hours every weekend to sleep past noon! I already did some laundry and took care of the pets, and watched another installment of _Weeds_. The sun is shining and I went outside for a little while to bask in the sun. I'm about to get down to some serious housecleaning now. I need to go to the grocery store, and I have to get 5 outfits ready for work this week. That involves ironing, but at least I can watch a movie while I'm doing that. I have selected _It's Complicated_ with Meryl Streep as my afternoon ironing movie. Have a great Sunday, everyone! |

This morning was not exactly overeasy. I headed to the gym around 7am and it was near whiteout conditions. Once I made it back home, things got easier.

i,m in Wash DC, so i left hotel for a walk at 9 am.....holy crap cold and windy as hell! so back i went for a hot coffee and left hotel at noon and stayed in the sun as walked to capital and wash monument.wind slowly calmed down and i had a nice brisk tourist walk.

Our morning will be lazy......just enjoying the deck out by the pool....coffee for her & chocolate almond milk for me.....listening to the wildlife waking up...warm sun on my skin....clear blue skies....going to be around 85 today...:). Having some scrambled egg in a bit.
Later this afternoon, going to a friend's "milestone birthday" party.....pool, ping pong (not for me but other party peoples...and home cooked Italian foods....birthday girl's request!!! Will be a quiet evening later back home....enjoying ourselves & Heidi playing about!!! Easy morning for me so far. I've got a trip to the gym and breakfast under my belt as well as tending to the :cat: and all that that entails.
Tails. Ha! I'm in the process of washing the sheets, which has been disputed by said :cat:. He likes the lumps and bumps the pillows make under the comforter. Right now, he's making due until I can get the clean sheets on the bed and put everything back together just the way he likes it. I've got a day of house chores and organizing ahead of me, it's beautiful and sunny outside and the TV as the soundtrack in the background. Can't go wrong with that. I might even get through the day without spending a dime, which would be awesome. |

Hi everyone! I had breakfast and did laundry and a few other chores early this morning, and then dashed all my plans for a _really_ productive Sunday by going back to bed. Still, I'm going to whirlwind through a few more chores early this afternoon. A friend is coming over later and we're going to binge watch _Daredevil_.

The sun woke me before the alarm, I got in a decent workout, I'm eating breakfast and am about to get ready and go about my day. It's beautiful outside. Can't ask for better weather. I feel so bad for Colorado right about now.

My mom and dad called and they are coming to visit today. My mom is bringing her homemade beef and vegetable soup, and cornbread, and a fruit salad, and probably some cake or cookies or something like that. My mom and I will have a nice long chat, and my dad will probably decide to do something like blow the leaves off my roof and gutters. I think I have a few stowaway squirrels in my attic. I might ask my dad to go up there and see. (He's 79 years old, but he's got more get-up-and-go than I do, and besides, squirrels are nasty little rodents with sharp and pointy teeth. Plus, my dad will be pleased to be asked.) Have a great week, everybody! |
