Pad Thai. Not just any old Pad Thai though. Our favorite place was shut down over the summer when the building next to it was torn down and caused the restaurant to start to collapse because they didn't realize that the two old buildings had been holding each other up. They re-located to a new building and have been re-building everything. They finally opened up this week so we went for lunch. It was Soooo good. I had half and saved half for dinner tonight.

I bought dog food, and a stocking full of stuffed animals that I will wrap up for Sadie's Christmas. She will be so happy to have new babies and she loves to unwrap presents!
Then I went to the Dollar Tree and bought some fun stocking stuffer things for some friends of mine. I also stocked up on dust masks while there. 10 for $1, can't beat that with a stick! |
I bought a color, trim and blow out plus postage for a holiday package and then I used a gift card plus a little extra at Benny's. I don't shop there often but you can't beat their Christmas clothing sales...half off of everything!
I bought a lined and hooded jacket last year that I'm wearing nearly every day now. For $12. Word. I'm also debating buying a movie ticket tonight. Collateral Beauty is playing. I'll wait to see Rogue for 2-3 weeks to eliminate the craziness and crowds. |
Vitamins, what fun.
Some leggings and Camis which was more fun |
Brisa
more gifts

Christmas cards, ribbon, and prescriptions.

Tuna subway sandwich for my 88 yo fathers lunch

I did wind up going to see Collateral Beauty and it was absolutely fantastic.

Tickets, for Juan and I, to hear Sixto Rodriquez at the Arlene Schnitzer concert hall in May. I nick named Juan after Sixto's nick name of Sugarman, because Juan and I share a vast love for music, music we both like together. Plus, we share the same month for our birthday's : May. He's a Taurus, I'm a Gemini. It's funny how things work out....years ago I said I'd be just fine after my love dove and I found each other after a crash. That's basically what happened in.our case. :stillheart:

Hit up the farmer's market and got a metric ton of fresh veggies and fruit, organic chicken thighs, buffalo wings, cheap wine, and the various bric-a-brac of cooking.
Also stopped at Staples and got my 155th wireless mouse. Well, maybe not my 155th but definitely by 10th or 11th. I have an entire box of Logitech mice but the little receivers either won't pair or the mouse itself is wonky. Those will be donated when I get home because I'm sick of playing Tetris with receivers and batteries. There was also a stop at a top-secret location for a Yule gift :hangloose: |
Groceries and gasoline. I was an adult tonight.
 |
Ten pack of fluorescent tubes for the light fixtures in the garage.
A gyro salad for my dinner. |
Gift bags, a dr. Pepper, gift card and a new pair of jeans.
|
Brisa
some lights, batteries, chips, more coffee, wines and a mess of other items.
|
NY State Cabernet Franc.
|
A pair of boxer briefs with the Grinch on the right leg, saying, "Naughty?" and Max on the left leg saying, "Or Nice?"

I did some crazy online window shopping, but I didn't commit to anything...
