Good morning Lofters!!

It's gorgous out today, so as usual I was up at 6 am, hit Home Depot, picked up door skins, as per recommended (decided to do it right the first time), hard board for walls, and a few odds and ends.

Oh and purchased a lovely orange sherbet colored hibiscus. Multipetaled, very pretty.

Will be very busy the next few days getting stuff ready before a Hurricane comes through. Will make a great escape ride.

Gonna be a lot of work for me, but I hooked up the fan to cool me off while I work and made sure the icemaker was full.

It's another beautiful day here and I will again be doing some yard work. Flowers are planted but so many weeds! I am wondering if all the weeds were gone if there would be any green left?:confused:

Evening all, No worries yet Morning Star, our precious peeps in Okie Land have been under extreme duress lately due to tornadoes... The Gulf is acting up currently, so am just mentioning that IF a hurricane comes through my area this year, I'm gonna be ready to go on vacation. I hear Canada is nice.... hee hee hee.:hangloose:

If you know me well enough, and maybe if you don't, you know that I will scram the first sign of nasty weather. I'm from the Southwest, lived in Hawaii and Louisiana, so yes, I know what bad weather is like. Oh and Colorado with 60 below zero chill factor and 10 ft of snow. No, I'm not making it up.....:seeingstars:

Morningstar is in the hospital again. Had surgery today to address the infection issue. Hoping this will be the last hospitalization. This time they fixed her. That's the plan.

Hope Morningstar feels better soon.

i was scared never had surgery before..... almost started crying. whew.
i feel a little better today... sore... in some areas..... tired.. and feeling blue cuz my family are all in Buffalo ny .
i am however am blessed to have Dutch in my life :heartbeat:

my son kurts band market east had their album release concert on saurday night so i actually was awake, and in a nightclub :blink: until some ungodly hour sunday morning.....the music is great and i love the sound..check out "market east"
had an interview that appears to have gone well so I just may be working...retirement is boring,,,also registered for a bunch of courses...cause my brain is starved for some stimulation....nj is taking some time to get used to...cant find a scrabble club, or a backgammon club...and i swear this is the quietest place i have ever lived in my life...quieter than when i lived on the mountain top.
went bike riding in the rain today...grand had a ball so did i....later lofties

So anyone doing anything exciting this weekend?

i will be studying, start a summer crash Project Management course...or trying not to fall off the roof....ever since hurricane sandy i have had a leak and cant seem to find the cause.....keep putting all the black tarry goop in places but still nothing, so this weekend once again i shall be up there with the goop.

End of august I start work : ) Was notified this morning i got the job and my start date....

doing better 1 day at a time.
love all this time with Mr Leonard :heartbeat:but wish it was not cuz of my injury. would love to get home soon... which may happpen soon.:)
