Laerkin is so excited Lady Gaga cleaned house at the VMAs. Not only did she bring four discharged soldiers as her guests from SLDN opposing DADT, but she champions LGBT rights and equality as well as gender fluidity and self-acceptance above all else. An inspirational young woman and I'm excited for the work she does on our behalf. Yay!

Is really happy to be thinking I'm close to being in the shape I was before an elbow injury 2 years ago. I got to play spiderman for 2 days and only my shoulders and ass cheeks (glutes) are a little sore. Not my whole body being really sore like last time. *smile*

Still recuperating from knee surgery but doing better every day. Heading to the Queer Leather Happy Hour @ the SF Eagle Tavern this evening for my first outing since my surgery.

Pissed! Just received my new health insurance cost increased policy! Of course, anti-Obama and health-care reform is blammed instead of how the insurance industry has been able to sustain profits in light of reform (their continued lobbying has worked in going at the loopholes!!) . If a public option had been part of the reform legislation, this would be a very different situation.
When are people going to get that we are held hostage by health-care insurance providers??? Doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand this! |
