The first 10.5miles on the big chain ring and tiny sprockets brought a big grin to my mush. :cheesy:

The storm that missed us. We were on the river in kayaks.
Otherwise, I wouldn't have been happy about not getting that rain. We are pretty far behind for the spring, summer and going into fall. |
Six days until I meet a very special woman ~ no guarantees, no promises just hoping for a good connection and friendship if nothing else! I'm nervous but excited :D

The dude that was fixing our boat called at 6:45 this morning to tell us it's ready! We already have a trip planned to go out on Wednesday and fish all day. :) THIS makes me very happy! Now, just gotta figure out how to bring something healthy in the ice chest for breakfast, lunch and dinner since all of our meals will be out of a cooler that day because marathon fishing is where it's AT! |
My life is full of joy...
... The sight of my children doing Yoga in the morning ... The knowledge of oh so wonderful things happening on the horizon ... My family... finally ... Couch snuggles and movie time |
My joy today is going to the theatre tonight to watch the wrestling ppv with a friend ~ I'm a HUGE wrestling fan so this will be fun :-)

We got out and did a day trip to the Shenandoah mountains. The weather was perfect, nice and cool. Plus, we got to see a momma bear and her cub right along the edge of the road in the woods. So cute!

wonderful lunch full of garden treats time with my Syr, and the beating that She gifted me with a wonderful crepe dinner finding the stray chicken quiet time |
During my lunch break I was just walking along - in my own little world - when I was suddenly surrounded by the subltle smell of sweetgrass. I looked around and noticed a woman walking by me - - just a quick glimpse - an impression of a summery blue and green dress, a curl of blond hair. I had to smile that the perfume of a stranger could fill me with comfort.
