I got the big job!! I went for one interview prior to graduation...they called today to confirm my salary and I go sign papers tomorrow, drug test, and start two weeks from today!!

Our new bed arrived today! And before it got here Belle went out and bought us a new comforter and pillows. Oh wow I feel like I am staying in a luxury hotel. It is soooo nice! :D

I was giving my niece and her son a ride home and she insisted we stop at McD's for drinks. That chocolate milkshake was fab! Nothing like driving along with the windows down and the radio blaring and singing along. A nice little visit!

Watching Chevvie play fetch with her Daddy! She finally gave in and went out to the front yard with Daddy and the other two furkids (she has been scared of the front yard since we moved! lol) and when she got there, she found out that Daddy is a Great stick thrower! She was soooo happy

I was able to successfully capture a medium sized dog (w/ no collar) that was running loose up and down a busy street today.
He almost got hit by a tractor trailer and then another car. It took forever trying to get a hold of him but I did with the help of another guy. I held him in my truck till a police officer came to assist. I put him in the back of the cop car and the cop hung out with the dog till animal control showed up. I hope he found his owners...if not I gave my info to be notified so I could get him. |
My amazing Sexy Silver Butch always makes me smile...today's lunchtime phone call was the highlight of my workday!

Our teenie little Chihuahua, Pixi, coming home from having to spend all day at the vet, and seeing her perked up and wagging her tail and playing with us. She's been really sick since about Friday and has been to the vet two days in a row. She looks like she's on the mend <3

When I reached for my phone after a rough patient and had not only texts but a message that someone was thinking of me and reminding me that they are proud of me :) Now if the rest of this shift goes smoothly and no more traumas all will be good! :)

Even though it woke me up too early...a hoot owl in the tree at the corner of my house at 3am that decided to hoot hoot for over an hour. I love mother nature and all her wonders.
Then at 5am... the new puppy decided to howl at the moon with her tiny squeeky howl. ... I tried very hard to get back to sleep but couldn't help but smile. Every time she howled, my other dog would shiver. ... now if I could teach all the critters to sleep in |
When she apologized for being a butt head yesterday. :)
