What made me smile today...
Hanging with the staff at the shelter and having the program driector joke with me. A sure sign I'm accepted and have a big chance of getting on-call work after my internship. ...Getting my foot in the door... :cheesy: |

The beautiful day today. Birds singing. Sunglasses on because the sun was so bright and it seems just happy when it's bright like that.
Then, home to a wonderful partner who loves me, who has my back, who treats me like a lady... Then after the beautiful day, a nice solid rain that makes everything appear so much greener and smells so fresh. Sitting on the front porch talking and laughing and planning supper. Someone pinch me and make sure this is not a dream. No wait...don't. I don't want to wake up. Ohhhhhhhhhhh that reminds me don't forget to wear green tomorrow!!!!! (f) |
Watching the movie Groundhog Day with Rooster...can't believe he's never seen. He's cracking up! :)

More than a smile...
Rooster cracked me up today with his sense of humor....
We were leaving Supercuts after his haircut, and passed an SUV that was parked just out front, windows down, keys in the ignition, engine running...and a bagged Subway sandwich on the dashboard. We walked over to the grocery store just a few doors down and got a few things. When we left, the SUV was still there, still open, still running. Rooster took a picture on his phone...and was captioning it for Facebook as we left.... "Steal this car and get a FREE Subway sandwich!" |

Chillin out in my Daddy's chair watching the Women's NCAA Basketball Tournament. Lady Vols win! It was a nice, relaxing afternoon away from my desk. :)
