Was at a workshop today and was all about GAMES!!! I now have alot more ressources :thumbsup: don't recall when I worked up quite a sweat lol

- Getting my haircut and having my lil ole spikey's back and feeling more feisty with my fresh haircut.
- Going to see my mom in the nursing home and watching her eyes light up like a little kid when she opened the sweet treat I brought her. |

I just got an email from the Mexican American Studies Department and even though I didn't get in to the Public Health portion of the program, they still want me to do my graduate studies in their department!!!!! I am beyond happy!! :happyjump: |

my partner (who is a secular jew and definitely not a fan of religion) refers to sundays as jesus day now (to be cute). and puts up with my religiosity with excellent humor :) we were just talking about me going to bed in time for jesus day, hehe. it makes me smile whenever he says that.

- wearing His commitment around my neck.., never taking it off, being able to reach up and feel it there through the day..knowing i'm His, and being the proudest girl in the world.. - Our countdown, of course.. 137 days! - happy, well behaved teenagers who love Us, and really are good children overall, who love, love, love to prove they can still drive me mad crazy a few times a day! lol. Who can confide anything in me, and happy they are feel close enough to do so, i feel i've done good over the years, no matter how hard times were.. - sunshiney days... a walk/run by the lake today, beautiful scenery, feeding ducks, cool air, rosey cheeks, meditation moments, words with Buddha, deep thoughts of Our future, and how blessed i feel, truly.. i don't own a lot of material possessions, but feel i have it all in life, love & friendships.. Seeing everything for what it is, appreciating, practicing gratitude, random acts of kindness.. smiling, positive thoughts & well into my recovery, regardless of challenging days, i'm feeling pretty friggin' amazing these days. |
being among the herbs & flower trees (at the nursery) I gathered some cilantro, parsley, cherry tomato, lavender, & pansies..and it rained last night..a perfect weekend so far..

Spending an awesome evening with my bestie from high school (15 yrs later and still best friends) going out to dinner and bowling ~ I can always just be myself with her and it's great to have an equally crazy friend to hang out with :-)

Spending the afternoon with my lil grandson and listening to his hearty laughter when we smashed plastic easter eggs on our foreheads and toys fell out. Hey, just getting him primed for beer cans in the distant future... ;)
