two dry wall hooks to put one of my pictures up
in new office...I must buy two perhaps three chairs one...two...for client and family...one for me...and will get small table for tissue box...bookcase=no... rice paper for covering just the lower half of window yes, a minimalist office...that's what I enjoy "working" in...I'm thinking it's because I do not like to shop. So, perhaps I'll get the chairs online and have them delivered...sounds good to me... Greco |

Nothing so far, but my son brought me jalapeno poppers earlier, just as a surprise. Probably to save me from ordering pizza. It's hot as blazes and my air conditioner froze up just before we hit a high of 101 mid day. It didn't click back on again until just a few minutes ago. It's 10:30 and still in the 80's! Now I'm off to chewy.com to buy cat food before the clock strikes midnight. By then it should be cool enough to open the windows and turn off the AC so I can finally go to bed.

I am irritated at Michael's. Specifically, irritated at their Bucks promotion. And the itty bitty tiny print that says the discount will not apply to clearance merch. Out of about 35 items, only 2 were not clearance, and...when I added it up....I was only about a buck and a half away from getting 5 bucks off.
Dude. Rude! So, to answer your question, I bought roughly 35 things from Michael's and then I went to the grocery store and bought another 15 things from there. I'm officially done for the day. |

Lipstick from Sephora. Jumbo muffin pan with jumbo cupcake papers. Two white rugs for the sides of the bed. Few things from the grocery store, to make some cold salads. It's too hot to cook! |

On my way to my BFF 's house, I came across a nearby neighbor having a garage sale. I bought several things....vintage candy dishes, a hand made quilt in pale green and Lilac (reversible) with daisy and butterfly stitching ....SO pretty! And.....another Nutcracker ..... And, a vintage frame to hold a large photo.... And, a beautiful vintage tea cup and saucer in a strange beautiful shade of blue and with Gold trim.... so I felt pretty happy with the treasures I bought today.
