It's my Wednesday evening and after having followed the election while many of you have slept I have to say I'm feeling more hopeful regarding the rights of GLBT folks in the USA for the next four years. Okay, I'm a Canadian living in Vietnam so perhaps I didn't have a personal concern - it wasn't about me inasmuch as it's about many of the wonderful people that I know from this site. Only two more work days to get through before FREEDOM! lol I need to stop overbooking myself so i have time for things like dates. Can't remember the last time I was on one.
Anybody got anything going on this week/weekend? Tonight I'm headed to an art show/play party for leather pride weekend, followed by the after party for the art show/party where a friend of mine is performing, and then this weekend I"m going on a dinner cruise, playing tour guide for a fellow BFPer, going to choir rehearsal, and taking my mom out for a fancy dinner for her birthday. (I hope someone else out there is super busy too so I don't feel like the only one who overbooks!) |

I work 6 days a week...I don't even know what a date looks like anymore, especially where I now reside. This is one of the reasons I am still single :( I'd love to have bookings with anyone for a weekend or at least Sundays. The fall is just perfect here in OK, fishing weather as far as I'm concerned, lol. So, for those of you singles with weekend plans, enjoy the weather and the weekend :) |
Awwww Wolfy, I'm sorry you don't get to have any free time. :( I would love to go fishing on a Sunday! Maybe I should get all my chores done during the week so i can have Sundays off! :)

Tomorrow night, going to see a play/production of a People's History if of the United States (Zinn). A friend of mine directed it. I'm pretty excited. I love learning/reliving history through Zinn.
Saturday is catch up day! NANOWRIMO pounding, some errands, etc. Sunday is a work/teaching day for me- but after this Sunday I only have 4 more teaching Sundays and then this contract is over and I am not renewing it. Whoot! |
Hi Everyone
The storm has taken all of my time. My family has been without power since Sandy hit. They are cold and without gas. I saw a sign on one of the houses on thier street. It said "Sandy you Bit.." I thought it has been like a woman who took everthing from you and left you to carry on.
Then we had a snow storm. Then I think to myself.... Is the end coming? We are just getting pounded. I call it the war zone. Houses in neighborhoods deserted. With contents of once homes out on the street as garbage now. No hope of when the electric will come back. Taking showers in the local gym. Walmart had no food in thier freezers and coolers for days. I have never seen it empty. People fighting for gas and food. It is a war zone and the images I have seen and felt are forever with me. And I am single! No one to love me through this hell..... |

It's another Saturday night and I've no where to go. So I'm at the computer with my trusty side-kick Marko (my cat) at my side. Wondering where all the Femmes hide in Mobile, AL. I know there are some because I've seen them, but they are taken. There must be others. What's a guy to do about it? Interestingly, it was suggested that I move to New Orleans, now that's a thought to consider, but my current situation has me here for now. So here's to new discoveries, I'm ready as I'll ever be. It is a beautiful weekend here. 81 today...and a nice little shower this afternoon to cool it down a bit... I enjoy sitting on the patio, working on crafts, and watching the rain....yummy!! Have a good week, everyone!!! |
Fell at work on wednesday and been having more headaches and migraines ever since. I hope this calms down when my back calms down!! My migraines were well under control until this!!
