What made me smile today is getting someone special a gift card for her birthday. She received her gifts prior to her birthday so I decided to just surprise her with that! It made her day so it made me smile!

The woman who sat across from me at my appointment today. She had deep, rich, red colored hair. It was in a perfect chignon, Tabatha Coffey would have been impressed. Beautiful hair, big smile.

just booked a JAX BEACH trip for sunday thru wed next week before shoulder surgery. i cannot wait for warm sunny weather, R&R

I brought my oldest daughter's too small Toms to wear to my classes today since I have three and they are spread out all over campus. I took off my heels and put the Toms on and halfway to class I looked down and started giggling. :) Something just struck me in such a funny way...to be wearing my daughters shoes because they are too small for her. She's only 13 and is closing in on 5'10" and wears a size 10.5 shoe!!

the surprise observation to which the vice principal said that was fun... lol, really? you haven't smiled at me in 2 weeks and that reading lesson got you to smile? someone's fun-o-meter is worse off than mine.

All sorts of happy messages from the gy... got me thinking... and we all know that is followed by a WEG...

She brought me dinner because I was working late catching up on paperwork.

On our school discussion board, we have been talking about this statement in relation to persons with disabilities: "With each level of loss, the individual is faced with adjustment/response demands".

A classmate shared that her mother has MS and continues to walk and do things she used to do although her mother says that it takes her so much longer to do those things and she feels so tired.

I told her "I have great admiration that she continues to walk despite the struggles she has in continuing. That should be an inspiration to you all about who she is as a person. She is determined to not let disability stand in her way."

She responded with this little blurb that made me chuckle and smile. It was definitely a positive thing...."Thank you so much. One of the things she finds to be very helpful is that she exercises daily. She does a 30 minute aerobic video in the morning. She will do the legs part on her back. The cute part is the cat will do the exercises with her and the cat lays on her back also. It is so funny."

Andrea is the executive director of Green Florida and wife of Equality Florida executive director Nadine Smith—and their son is absolutely adorable. (It’s all about the cheeks. Or maybe the eyes.
