I hope Lee wins....and I'm gonna tell You why......
If Crystal wins, she won't have free reign with her work......think Adam Lambert. He's going great guns....where's Chris Allen? Um.....yeah. See my point? If Lee wins (a Chris-esque kind of performer, though, imho, somewhat better than Chris), then he'll be caught up in the AI "machine" and bound and beholden to them, whereas Crystal will have more freedom to perform the kind of music which suits her best. We'll hear more from her. And I like that best, personally. |
*nods* That does make pretty good sense Diva, so even if she doesn't win I'm sure she will do great things :)

I'm still cranky that Big Mike went last week instead of Lamey. I hope he does continue on with his music.
And I agree with Diva. At this point, 2nd place is better. :) In my Tarot post on who was going to win, here is what I said about Lee's journey on AI. Lee Dewyze gets the Death card. Gosh darn it. Before anyone gets their boxers in a bunch, this does NOT mean that Lee is going to die. It means that he is going to have to change and in some fairly significant ways. It won’t be easy and I actually do not think he will make it to the final four. I believe he will be an early out. Pout. Another fave! Then again, the rising from the ashes could mean he’ll be saved at least once. I said Crystal would be in the top four and Big Mike. My other two were Katie and Siobhan (totally based on the cards, grin.) Crystal Bowersox gets the 8 of Wands. Now here is a card of fast movement and action. It can predict travel but also is about passion and energy. I have to admit that Crystal is one of my personal faves. I really wanted to see her get one of the aces but the 8 of Wands is a very powerful card for someone on a rising path. I love doing this because it is pure speculation. Fun to watch the season and see if I was close. |
I am a Crystal fan all the way! I think every little teeny bopper with a cell phone will vote for Lee.

I have to say it. Lee was soooo much better than either of them. I just caught up last night although I didn't tape the results show (not sure what is up with my UVerse but it's dropped that show twice now. booo)
Crystal was not that into her music for me. And that harmonica thing was so in the way. |

I've been thinking (I know, I know...but it *does* happen!) and I'm not too worried about Crystal's album, no matter whether she wins or takes the runner up prize. Simon has said all season that it's refreshing to see someone who doesn't sell out and that she's such an individual, ect. I'm sure that the masterminds behind the hoopla know she couldn't and won't pull off a teeny bopper, look at my new boobs and bleached hair routine. She's authentic and I think she'll hold fast to her ideals. Simon's company still has something to do with the AI kids, even with him going to the X Factor, I think.
I'm very glad that the top two turned out liked I hoped it would. :thumbsup: |
