Seeing the sun coming through the clouds...awesome day! Fresh air and the rain cleaned all the gunk out.

lunchtime on the phone,I seem to be smiling a lot these days

I've had an under aged client that had gone missing since the 9th. Once we located him in the neighboring state we could not convince him to take the help and return home. There was no forcing him to take the help..or to return, as he is over the age of 16 and the laws do not allow forceful return.


After many failed attempts, today he accepted the help offered, was admitted into the hospital for treatment, and is now safe. I am grateful to everyone that assisted. This has filled my heart with much joy and eased my mind more than words could describe. This made me smile today.

I worked outside all day today. Rearranged the garden, pulled weeds, spread a pick up trucks worth of cedar mulch, set the flagstone straight. My body is Sooo gonna pay me back for all that tomorrow, but it's worth it cause everything looks perfect!

My son who, at the still tender age of 14, is losing one of the people he loves most in the world....with compassion and understanding and strength beyond his years.

Talking to my grandboy, that I haven't heard from for a very long time. Knowing that he carries his Mom's spirit within him. The grace that was given me in that situation. Blessings, smiles and tears.

Receiving word that a story of mine was accepted for publication in an anthology by an editor and publisher I haven't worked with before, and a response from another editor that I have worked with before that they are going to publish an anthology of my works! Yay!

An ex sent me a card that says "If we were in prison I'd watch your back. I would totally shiv someone if they dissed you". It makes me smile every time I see it.

Getting a package and my VA drivers licence in the mail! :cheesy:

A 20 minute drive to come give me a hug because I was having a bad day.

Saying goodby to a great bunch of now ex-coworkers, I have known these folks for the last 12 years and it was a bit bittersweet to say the least. Its amazing the people that come and go in ones life.
