what made me smile... Nah more like what cracked me up...
My daughter told me this morning that her cat ate all her little green bean plants that she had germinated in the house. When she was replanting some more with my two year old grandson she explained to him why they had to replant more green beans... Their interaction... momma: we have to plant more because the kitty ate our other plants and mommy is so angry with the kitty. ju: (looking at the cat and then at the food bowl) Kitty ate plants cause there's no food in the bowl momma. momma: Awww I can't be mad at the kitty anymore can I? Ju: (putting a cookie in the bowl) Come eat kitty. I feed you. :rofl: I love that kid! :cheesy: |

Haha what made me smile today is that my girl blurted out to me everything she got me in my Easter basket . She couldn't keep it a secret for nothing Haha. She has no clue what I got her nor will she . It was cute and sweet that she did blab it .

A gentle, magnificent, strong, and loving hand raising my chin up to look into those decadent green eyes..... then came those 3 powerful words- 'Daddy's got you" :heartbeat: how much i am loved amazes me more with each moment i am in Hys presence! and more so, when i'm not with Hym, i feel that delicious energy even stronger. what made me smile today? oh my... what didn't?! |

Getting my hair done at one of those kiosks with the straightener/curling thingie Looking like Miss Piggy with all these blonde locks that everyone assured me liked sooooo pretty....gasp. Feeling like a young mom with my young adult daughter who is still having a good day. Oh yeah, visiting with my elderly aunt in a nursing home...such a hoot! Today was joyful, fun day. I smiled all day long! |

I ventured into Walmart today (I know..) and among all the things that made me go "WHA???" there was one thing that made me smile.
There was a couple of developmentally disabled adults standing in the checkout line. Both were just doing their thing, emptying their basket when one of them gets the most excited look on his face and digs way down into the basket and comes up with the cutest stuffed monkey. He hugged that monkey so hard and gave it the biggest kiss....his face was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen...it was Bliss, pure bliss. You don't get to see that everyday. |

- looking through pix of when i was in Oregon with Daddy & the pup..& posting on facebook..♥ - also looking through & posting pix of my recent visit to see my Memere..♥ getting quality time with her, knowing it won't be long now..i'll cherish her words, the memories & her love, with every bit of my heart.. As sad as losing her makes me, the time with her brought me many smiles, i needed that time with her..i didn't get it with Pepere before losing him. Such a strong, grounded woman with such a beautiful soul.. - time with Him, in any form, He always makes time for me, day & night, i feel blessed, important and proud to be His... - wearing His commitment around my neck and never taking it off.. having His shirts that i wear and sleep with for comfort to feel Him close, carrying His owl feather & coins, Our magic rock... in fact, ALL of the things i hold dear to my heart, because they're His.. - life, happiness, Our family.. Our furbabies.. Togetherness, smiles, Our future.. |

my nephews are here. We babysat them last night. I was listening to chrissy teach the oldest how to cook bacon. They buy the precooked bacon you pop in the microwave. SO not a good choice because of the preservatives! And the bland taste cannot compare to real bacon! I smiled as the sub and the child enjoyed moments in the kitchen, bonding over food. Life is so good...

Seeing the faces of the employees at the Boys and Girls club when I told them they would be receiving a grant for $1500 from my organization. :) They were quite happy and I am confident it will be put to good use! Those kids deserve it!
