Today was one of those No-No days. *Chuckles.

I made fried chicken, sweet potato fries, steak fries, and mini hash brown patties in the deep fryer and then made hot dogs minus the bread of course. LOL!

Tomorrow I am sure will be much more lean....already got out chicken was thinking some homemade chicken noodle soup. :-)

my babe made some yummy chili we ate with parmesan bread chips.

Penne in a vodka sauce here at home.

This evening I'm going to take my wife to a really great Thai place for dinner and some frozen yogurt for dessert and a little hand holding walk in the park .
A little pushin on the swings maybe too :)

The little woman will be on a standout for Elizabeth Warren with her union tonight, so it looks like it's a bachelor dinner - yogurt, honey & walnuts, and last night's episode of Grimm from OnDemand.

Since this is our Saturday we are having a home cooked meal which is:

A garden vegatable sauce with carrots, zucki, chili pepper and tomatos and a few other spices thrown in for good measure

I love to cook so Im going to do this for my baby lets hope she likes it

We are going out to the Big Tuna with friends. Fish is on my mind the blackened type to be exact.

My neighbor is cooking shrimp fried rice...everything she cooks is delicious, so I will be having shrimp fried rice ;)

had leftover chili. added salsa, cheese, sour cream and ate it up with tortilla chips. yum!

tonight probably more chili. :p or arroz con gandules P.R. style and chicken that a coworker gave me.

Dinner today is leftover lunch. I did not make the homemade chicken noodle soup yesterday, but rather today. It turned out very good since the broth was rich. Diced up some carrots, onions, celery, potatoes, parsley, and used very well cleaned chicken thighs - took it off the bone, diced it and returned it to the broth. Some noodles shortly before it was done and then make sure they were al dente. OMG! Perfection!! So deja vu it is......

Ha ha just texted Spritz that I was thinking of fryin' up some liver. Her response, "Well we are definitely not having liver."

Oh come on, I make great liver bites! Any takers? ;)

I made my famous ginger sauce chicken.

It is really just chicken cooked in bbq sauce... The sauce is a secret family recipie, but not from my family, so I fear a certain southern gentleman (who is no longer with us) would come haunt me if I gave it away.
