I'm having:
Medium Rare Prime Rib, garlic mashed potatoes, burgundy mushrooms I can't wait! |
Super basic tonight...onions, garlic and pancetta lightly seared in olive oil and then tossed over spaghetti. (Apparently it's a carbo loading night) fresh Reggiano grated atop and a glass or two of Sauv blanc. Oh, and a chunk of crusty bread, of course.

I had a protein bar.....I find I'm not terribly fond of the texture.....and some fruit....a plum and a nectarine.... I had some lunch with Teddy around 1pm so it's not like I was ravenous....

I made chicken that was marinated in honey garlic sauce, couscous, veggies (green & yellow stringbeans with carrots) and Salad (romaine, red/yellow/orange peppers, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, pickles, olives, hot peppers & bacon bits). Have plenty of leftovers for lunch ;)

Spaghetti squash with chicken cooked in a lemon and white wine sauce. MMMMM. :)

Going organic!
No dinner tonight! The lovely Armenian Orthodox Cathedral on my block had its annual festival, and the Middle Eastern food was divine! Lunch was ample and carried me through! I had a platter of fatoush salad, baba ghanoush and grilled lamb and chicken chunks, with pita bread, iced water, and double espresso with a pistacchio baklava. Delish!

Well, last night's dinner was...
turkey chili over rice and Jiffy cornbread :) Right now, I really don't feel like cooking, so tonight's dinner is either gonna be.... BLTs and fruit salad OR Tomato soup and a grilled ham & cheese sandwich |
Last nights dinner... roasted drumsticks with wild rice blend and summer vegetable hash... tonight is class night... so it may be PBJ's! YUMM!

Tonight i'm haveing mushroom smothered butterfly pork chops ove a bed of wild rice.Then a slice of seedless watermellon,if I got room for it.

I made pork stir fry over steamed rice. It was kinda amazing.

Tonight was lasagna and a salad with LOTS of stuff in it, including tortilla strips, avocado, and spicy ranch dressing with lime juice. It came out so yummy!

Syr requested Cube Steak so Cube Steak it was, along with more smothered crookneck and some saffron rice.
Added a fresh from the garden salad and dinner was had by all. |
I made a salad with candied pecans, apple slices and chicken breast. Yummy!

I find myself in a bit of an exotic mood so I'm going to whip up some murgh makhani (butter chicken). I don't often go for Indian food, but when I do, this is my go-to dish. Tossed over a bit of basmati rice because that's what I have on hand, it will be yum.

Daddi took me to our favorite place so i don't have withdrawal while we are away!
