Hello, from Oregon!

Howdy, I'm Nellie. Figured I best make myself friendly and embrace introductions.
What's good?

GlouriousBastard 11-25-2013 04:24 PM

I hope my introduction post finds all of you well and blessed this Thanksgiving week.

It's been more than two years since I've been online or posted a word anywhere. I'm here for just a while, so I hope that anything I bring to BFP will be of some value to someone, somehow and worth your read—even if I post just a few words here and there, now and then.

I think it's important to say what you mean and mean what you say in ways that draw a vivid picture, bring a smile, lend empathy, evoke warmth, touch, assure, inform, entertain, educate, enlighten, intrigue and add beauty somehow. That said, I haven't returned to "find" community or to "take" from it. I'm here to lend or give something to this community—online and off— and by using space and words more creatively and in ways that may benefit another person.

Offline, I'm an FtM who lives single as a straight man on a very private journey and, as I said, I'm here for just awhile. So I'll try to make the most of being a BFP member with forethought in my posts and most importantly, with consideration for anyone who may read them. I hope you'll find my contributions of value—even in the slightest way.

Whatever you do in this life, make the most of every second. It's plausible to turn an online forum into a richer, more creative experience—by giving.

Have a wonderful week and a blessed and safe Thanksgiving and Hanukkah. There's much to give and much to be thankful for.

Re-posting my introduction under the screen name of "Jet" with added information and my moniker. I haven't been online in more than two years and the administration has re-opened my original profile and name. I apologize for any confusion, but this is new to me!

On an ordinary day, I'm a designer and writer with a passion for the arts and history. This is my moniker on my Coat of Arms...a way to get to know me and my work as a designer.

Have a wonderful week and a blessed and safe Thanksgiving and Hanukkah. There's much to give and much to be thankful for.

Hello back from Atlanta. I can't help you with your search for partnering (I, for one, am not here to jack around or cruise for a woman; those days are over for me.) But I can suggest a thread called "The Loft," a thread geared for butches and femmes in their 40s and 50s. I hope you'll find a fit there if you're starting out, and I hope you'll have a rewarding time here on BFP.

Good luck,
J

Thank you. I appreciate it.
