Not really. Doing my laundry right now and playing some FB games during the waiting periods. Then maybe organize my closet, play the guitar, play a PC game. Depends on my mood. How about you?

Want to teach me how to play the guitar? I'm trying to learn but I'm not so good at it.

I never had lessons. I just bought a chord book, started with a few and after mastering those I moved on and added a new set. Too bad you live so far from me. We could have played together. And you'll improve, as long as you practice. Obviously, how much you improve will depend upon how much time you devote to practicing. Good luck.

Thanks! I am really hoping that learning the guitar will help me with my songs. Its so hard to do anything with them with just voice. Guitar will make me more... marketable.

so you're a song writer? I sing silly made up songs to my dog. I guess she is the one that inspires me right now. I've always wanted to write a song for a special woman in my life but at the moment there is not one who could provide the inspiration. But when she shows up, I hope her name rhymes with some good words :)

I woke up determined to enjoy myself... cold or no! So, time to do my few chores, bundle up, and head out to the city. I hope you all have a great day.

I am a songwriter. It has never been a priority in my life until recently. Something I loved, but I never believed could go anywhere. I happened to meet someone a few years ago that has become a dear friend... and... is pushing me with my music. She is a producer... and for some reason, thinks I'm a musician worth prodding and pampering. We shall see.

I know Sunny, it's crazy!!! I'm ready to :whine:, I'm hoping it won't stay this way!!! I work for the State of Texas in Insurance and Retirement. And as most in the world know, there is a lot going on with insurance right now, so we are getting slammed. I wish people could just feel confident that we will let them know anything that is going to affect them and not listen to rumors, but then, I guess they wouldn't be being true to who they are. :praying: It HAS to slow down eventually. Thank goodness I'm a set M-F 8:00 - 4:30. :)

I think that is a wonderful idea Sunny, I know I will be there if we plan this.

I'm sorry about your Thanksgivings in the past, I know that had to hurt, hopefully we can help provide some good happy memories in the future.

Now as to your feeling ... Honey, let's hope so ... I like me just fine, but I really do love being part of a couple. I love having someone to love. I'm good as a couple and hope to have that again, and soon. :praying:

good morning singles!! its a no wonder im single..(looking around at my house) i made popcorn last night an watched movies.. um my dog likes to catch popcorn so i was tossin popcorn all over the place we shur made a mess!! guess its time to clean an grrr vacume

Have to bring my old cat in for his kidney blood work. Always get a little upset even though I do this every 3 months with him and know he will eventually leave me due to kidney failure. I think this time, I will be starting to give him sub-q fluids every day instead of every other depending on the results. He has started to drink a lot more, again. But, he is also still his sassy self in many ways.
